Jama’ah prayer

By: Umar Ibrahim

Benefits one:

In jama’ah prayer it is better to sit in the front, because you obtain more hasanats from this action.

Benefits two:

Another benefit for doing congregational prayer is being rewarded more hasanats because the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did congregational prayer.

Benefits three:

One other benefit is that you learn other things because of the kutbah that the ima’am does.

Rule one:

The first rule for congregational prayer is if you join in after the prayer starts then you must say allahu akbar once then go to the position the ima’am is in.

Rule two:

This rule is in every prayer and it is to wear the neatest clothes possible because being clean is important in islam.

Rule three:

You are not allowed to say allahu akbar while you are still trying to join the progressing congregational prayer.

Rule four:

This rule is one of the most important rules in prayer and not just congregational prayer. This rule is to have wudu in which will clean your heart.

Rule five:

Once you reach the age of seven it is said you should start attending congregational prayer at mosque.

Rule six:

The second last rule is if you happen not to find a mosque with your companions, then you can do it without a mosque. But you must be in a clean place.

Rule seven:

The last rule is that the ima’am must know a lot of qur’an and know a lot of rules of salah. So if something goes wrong the ima’am will know what to do to fix it.
