What smoking does to your body:- Lung cancer risk increases 50-100%
for each cigarette you smoke per day.
Heart disease risk increases 100% for each pack of cigarettes you smoke per day.
Switching to filter tip cigarettes decreases your risk of lung cancer about 20% but NOT heart disease
Rewards of Smoking:-
The average smoker takes ten puffs per cigarette.
If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, this is about 200 puffs
Each puff of nicotine reaches the smokers brain within 7 seconds

Benefits of quitting smoking include:- a decreased risk of cancer, lung disease, heart attacks,

low birth weight better smelling breath and whiter teeth saving money no more yellowing of the fingernails and fingers a heightened sense of smell and taste the ability to breathe easier no longer exposing others to secondhand smoke a greater acceptance from potential employers or landlords
Effects on the body:-
Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant.
In low doses, alcohol can produce: a relaxing effect reduced tension lower inhibitions impaired concentration slower reflexes impaired reaction time reduced coordination

In medium doses, alcohol can produce: slurred speech drowsiness altered emotions
In high doses, alcohol can produce: vomiting breathing difficulties unconsciousness coma DEATH
How to over come:-
Recognize that you have a problem." Listen if you're drinking everyday, every other day, every weekend and so on and so forth then you probably have a problem. Don't let pride mess with your life, because sooner or later this disease will catch up with you.
2 Get all the alcohol beverages out of your
house. Get them out of your refrigerator out of your cupboards dump it down the sink and throw the bottles away, you will feel liberated after doing so.
3 Tell your party friends goodbye. Here comes the hard
part. All those people who you party with who stick with you because you buy all the beer... tell them bye bye. Tell them however you want to, but you have to stay away from people who are going to influence you to drink. So bottom line and I don't care if its your girlfriend, if they are not part of the solution then they are part of the problem.
4 Go see a counselor or go to a AA meeting. When
facing this disease you are going to need support and sometimes sharing your story with complete strangers can be therapeutic not to mention inspiring to people who share your pain, it will help
5 Pat yourself on the back, now go out there and spread
the word of alcoholism and how it affects peoples life, be a spokesperson for this disease, people need you.
