The Vince Dooley Scholarship

2013 - 2014

The Vince Dooley Scholarship is funded and awarded by the JacksonvilleBulldog Alumni Scholarships, Inc. The award is a one-year, renewablescholarship in the amount of $3,000.00 to help defer educational costs for aperiod of one year's matriculation at the University of Georgia.

The Award shall be presented contingent to the following conditions:

1. The student is a legal resident of Baker, Clay, Duval,Nassau, or St. John's counties, Florida.

2. The student provides a completed application packet tothe Jacksonville Bulldog Alumni Scholarships, Inc. by thespecified deadline listed below.

3. The student is accepted for admission to the Universityof Georgia as a full-time, degree-seeking student.

4. The student attends the University of Georgia full-time as

an entering freshman.5. Finalists for the scholarship will be required to attend a

selection interview conducted by the Jacksonville BulldogAlumni Scholarships Inc. Scholarship Committee, (thecurrent President, Past-Presidents and officers from theGeorgia Bulldog Alumni Club of Jacksonville.)

6. Announcement of the recipient shall be made byApril 30th or earlier.

The scholarship packet is complete when it includes:

1. Completed application with student's current GPA(including second grading period of grade 12).

2. Transcripts for grades 9, 10, 11, and12 (includingsecond grading period of grade 12).
