information from the client to produce accurate and professional clinical notes.

Managing bookings and appointments. Quick decision making during the pitch-side care of university

football and rugby teams.

09/03/14 – 25/04/14 Placement - Brookfields Physiotherapy Clinic Observing subjective and objective assessments, manual

therapy, exercise programmes and hydrotherapy sessions.

Leading and creating hydrotherapy exercise sessions for groups of older individuals and older individuals suffering with different conditions.

Helping assist in pool with one on one hydrotherapy sessions.

Sporting Experience

22/09/14 – 02/11/14 Placement - Esher Rugby Union Football Club Involved in rehabilitation during training sessions including

acute injury assessment, taping, soft tissue massage, gym work and return to play.

Involved in treatment planning, pre-injury screening and concussion baseline testing with the head physiotherapist.

Involved in pre-match care and pitch-side cover for the second team.

22/09/13 – 31/11/13 Placement – Cobham Rugby Union Football Club Delivering soft tissue massage to players during training

sessions. Helping deliver rehabilitation exercise programmes for injured

players implemented by the head physiotherapist.

Professional Development

01/06/14 – 01/06/15 Co-president of St. Mary’s Rugby League team Responsibilities included sponsorship, fundraising, recruitment

of players, fixtures, marketing, managing funds and expenses, match day travel, kit, recruiting a qualified head coach and maintaining and developing relationships with the Student Union, Athletic Union and the RFL.

Membership increased from struggling to field two teams in the 2013-14 season to having 45 registered members in the 2014-15 season.

Raised over £1000 for Cancer Research. Rugby League won St. Mary’s Club of the Year for the clubs work with

the community, the university and an overall more successful year.

Hobbies

I am a fit, active individual who enjoys both participating and watching a variety of sports. With a background of predominantly Rugby and other team sports I have developed a strong understanding and appreciation of teamwork. I am also a keen golfer with a membership at Berkhamsted Golf Club.

Additional Information Full, clean driving license and access to transport. Produced an award winning dissertation titled “A Two Year Study – The

King-Devick Test in University Level Rugby League”.
