REBEL ART FEST is a curated showcase of local makers, artists and musicians with thebest modern craft, design and sound.  Enjoy music by local bands, shop handcraftedgoods,  view fun and irreverent art, take a bite from a food truck, and try a DIY projectas you wander the festival, set in South Bend's River Park neighborhood. Our 6thannual festival is scheduled for Sunday, August 1 from 12-8 pm in the historicalPotawatomi Park, kicking off Best.Week.Ever 2021!

The festival is the brainchild of maker and artist, Michelle FitzGerald and musicianand maker, Nathaniel FitzGerald who wish to support and encourage the creativemakers in South Bend and bring more life to River Park. The neighborhood is hometo their makerspace, MAKE SOUTH BEND; and is also home to community space andmusic venue, The Well; IUSB and the Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts; and hometo many creative neighbors such as sculptor Victor Riley who created totem polesaround River Park and the greater South Bend area. River Park is home to musicianslike Dad Jokes, SPACESHIPS, Analecta, Paul Erdman, and more.
