SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS R & D SEAMING

I DEVELOPED A NON-WASH BOARDING SEAM THAT ADDED 20% LIFE OF THE BELT FOR THE CUSTOMER.

Designed and set up weave patterns in looms that where more acceptable to making dryer fabrics easier to seam and longer running.

Developed the strongest spiral seam in a polyestor 44 mesh .027 warp and weft that was patented.

Trained employees and implemented work instructions and processes in Kanata Canada, Walterboro SC, Jonesboro GA, Hogsjo Sweden, Stockbridge GA, Star City Arkansas. To operate the ProSeamer seaming machine and the processes involved in the system that improved productivity by 20% or 6,000” a month and with better quality.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Developed a woven seam for the 36X12 single facer wire that is stronger than a brazed seam.

Figured out how to put balls on stainless steel wire mesh ranging from 10 mesh to 40 mesh at a high rate of speed.

Designed the seam and finishing process of a 10X12 brass coated wire with a back woven pin seam installed in it using the ProSeamer Machine.

Implemented procedures to work on multiple orders at the same time, saving 12 hours of set up time. Saved the company $55,000 a year in manufacturing for this one customer.

Made a cup to apply adhesive to the edges of belts, allows you to apply it to top and bottom at the same time. Saves 1 hour dry time per belt a total savings of $74,000 a year.
