Agenda•Features
•Scenarios
•Demo
•Available from 5.3
•PBX Interconnection with two clicks
•Easy IT integration (IAX uses just one connection over one
port for the interconnection)
•Busy Lamp Field Distribution (not just phone BLFs but path
switches, night switches and DND)
Features
•Virtual phones (use a phone of PBX A within a Queue, Call
Group or Forwarding on PBX B)
•Specific security levels (only internal phones, only internal
numbers, Remote Breakout)
•Remote Breakout (use a provider of another PBX, saves
money if you want to make calls to another country)
Features
•Each PBX has their own internal extensions and every
extension is capable of calling extensions of the
interconnected PBX directly, without dialing a prefix
Scenario I
•PBXs are configured in two different networks. Every PBX has
their own extensions. By dialing a prefix, one can reach the
connected PBX and even dial out through a provider,
physically connected to the interconnected PBX. This is
called remote breakout.
Scenario II
•This case shows three connected networks. Each with the
same, internal extensions. Using the internal extensions of
the own PBX, one can call extensions directly. Using prefixes
makes it possible to call extensions in the other networks.
•Connection between multiple PBXs using Dial Patterns to
reach the other Parties
