This introductory guide is designed to provide firsttime users with all the information they need todownload the iWatchArmy app and begin sendingtips from their iPhone or Android mobile device.

iWatchArmy is a free application that runs on anyApple IOS or Android mobile phone or tablet device.You can choose to create an account and profile, oryou can simply submit tips and information anony-mously. Even if you choose to be anonymous, youcan check on the status of your tip, and provide anyadditional information you might wish to add.

To download the app, simply go to the Apple App store if you have an iPhone or iPad, or toGoogle play if you are using an Android device.

Search for the iWatchArmy App.


Select and install the iWatchArmy App.




When you launch the app for the first time, it will ask about your privacy preferences and deviceaccess settings needed to send audio and video with your tips.

It is important to remember that the app is not intended to be used in emergencies! You must accept the terms of use before using the app.

Once you have chosen your privacy settings and accepted the terms of use, you will see a seriesof 6 slides that will show you how to use the app. You can always review these instructions by se-lecting “Application Tour” under the “More” button in the lower left corner of the screen.

Your location search results will then appear. The number of returns to your search will dependon how specific your search parameters were in your search query. To select the location youwould like your tips to be received, select the home icon to the right of your location choice.

iWatchArmy requires you to select the location you wish your tips to go. To select a location,click on the globe icon in the lower left of the screen. This will present the “Find a Department”screen with several search options. Enter the search parameters and select “Search”.
