BiH Presidency Member from Republika Srpska, Dr. Mladen Ivanić received the Delegation from the World Scout Foundation of the Baden Powll Association and the Scout Association of BiH.

Representatives of the Scout Association of BiH and the World Scout Foundation WSF informed BiH Presidency Member Dr. Mladen Ivanić about their activities and mutual cooperation, as well as their plans during this first visit of the WSF to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The visit is continuation of cooperation of BiH scout family with the World's family for informal education and training which has more than 40 million member, and promotes nonmaterial social values and a healthy life style.

The guests informed BiH Presidency Member on their plans to create a strategy for Scout Association of BiH, and the results of scouts' engagement in providing assistance to the local communities during the disastrous floods last year. It was discussed about a more active realization of the scouts' work program in our country and the enhancement of cooperation with the regional scout associations.

BiH Presidency Member Dr. Mladen Ivanić expressed his support to the cooperation and engagement of Scout Association of BiH and World Scout Foundation and the further cooperation amongst the Scout Association of Republika Srpska, the Scout Association of FBiH and the Scout Association of Brčko District under the roof Scout Association of BiH.

In the delegation of the WSF there were leaders and donors to the Scout movement from Belgium, Saudi Arabia, China, the USA, Nicaragua, Great Britain and Netherlands.
