GUATEMALA Within the campaign “Agua Segura” implemented by FUNCAFE’, 1650 families from the 12 municipalities of SCAMPIS

Oriente, received filters for drinking water.

On the 14 of April Funcafé promoted the Scampis project during the “Feria del Caficultor” in the regions of Jutiapa and

Jalapa. Almost 1500 farmers participated. The photos are available here

INDIA Welcome to the new SCAMPIS India coordinator Mr. Nrusingh Charan Pradhan & good luck to Debasis Pati for his

new enrolment into OTELP (IFAD governmental programme for Tribal Population of the Orissa Region).

The Scampis International Learning Path (LP) will be implemented all along 2011 in order to

1. Improve the reciprocity and cooperation between different actors and different countries

2. The sharing of the innovations introduced and the challenges faced during the project implementation,

3. Improve the project efficiency/effectiveness through the exchange of best practices (within the network

and outside)

The LP will put in place shared conferences chats (see agenda) and an international workshop/study tour. See the LP
