Cloud Integration
“We want our users to work with files/applications from the major cloud service providers as transparently and efficiently as possible within itslearning. Where possible we will hide the complexities of integration and focus on providing an simple, easy to follow workflow.”

1. itslearning Built-in “Cloud” Tools
Summary: Built-in Microsoft Cloud Tools
• Microsoft cloud tools are built into itslearning.
• Edit, share, collaborate from the browser.
• No requirement to have a Microsoft user account or Office365 Email. No configuration or set-up – you’re ready to go.
• Already in use by many customers now, and available to all before summer 2017.
2. Adding G Suite and O365 Documents Today
Add files from Google or O365 into courses, plans, assignments, library, etc.
3. G Suite and O365 Tool Integration in itslearning
Spring/Summer 2017
Collaboration in the Cloud

Summary: Cloud Services
• Cloud files are built into the itslearning workflow.
• Use files from Google, O365, itslearning and elsewhere with a few clicks.
• Create collaborative tasks using Google or o365.
• Cloud files will be an important part of planner - teachers can structure content from many different sources and target it to students.
4. Cloud Integration With Assignments
Automatically we create a copy of the assignment so we have a statement of record1
Teacher can view the submission and add in-line comments and edits2
Students can see the teacher comments and their grade.3
If the teacher allows resubmission, the student can re-submit the assignment and itslearning makes another copy for annotating.
4
Assignment and Cloud Services
• Students can work in their favourite cloud provider.
• Itslearning will retain a permanent copy of cloud-based assignment submissions.
• Teachers use the same built-in annotation tool for commenting on submissions from either G Suite or Office 365.
Other Great Cloud Features for Spring/Summer
• Cloud linking/uploading will appear across courses, library, plans.
• Log on to the cloud service once, and we will remember the connection.
• Faster enterprise integrations with Microsoft as we join the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
• Enterprise integration with Google – add Google account information to integrations.
Cloud - Beyond Back to School 2017
• We are looking improved integrations with calendar from both Google and O365.
• Template cloud files for assignments.
