  • Its the 100 th day! Lets all sing and shout hooray! Count to 100, count by 10s! Lets get ready, lets begin! 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 It was the 100 th day at Thunderbolt Elementary School!   • The scared children screamed! That is a whole lot of bears and they look dangerous said Andrew. Mrs. Hicks wondered why 100 brown bears were in her classroom. Maybe they are hungry thought the children. Mrs. Hicks Class

  • The frightened and surprised students decided to call Mr. Collins for help with the hungry bears. He came running down the First Grade Hallway to see what was happening. Mr. Collins brought some honey with him to try and trap the bears and take them out side safely! Mrs. Adams Class

  • Mrs. Roney tried to open the honey but the lid was stuck! Mr. Collins grabbed one side of the sticky jar and Mrs. Roney grabbed the other side! They tried their very best to get the lid off the honey pot when all of a sudden. The lid came off and the honey spilled out all over Mrs. Roney and Mr. Collins. They were stuck together! Mrs. Roneys Class

  • Lets call Mrs. Phillips! said Emerson! The children agreed she would be able to solve the problem of 100 hungry bears! Mrs. Phillips came down the hall using her walking feet. She brought a garden hose to try and get Mrs. Roney and Mr. Collins unstuck! When she walked in the room she heard a giant. The roar scared her so badly that she jumped up and all of a sudden she was stuck to Mr. Collins and Mrs. Roney too!!! The kids wondered how they could save them and escape from the hungry bears! Mrs. Owens Class

  • The students had to think quick because the hungry bears could smell that OOEY GOOEY honey that was stuck to the adults. As the kids were coming up with a plan, the sneaky bears were creaping closer and closer to the frightened faculty. I have an idea said Emily. She grabbed the green hose and Landon turned on the water! Mr. Collins, Mrs. Roney, and Mrs. Phillips yelled loudly when the water hit them! Mrs.Blandford/Greens Class

  • Phoebe grabbed her lunchbox and took out a bag of Doritos. The children started to leave a trail of chips out the back door and into the woods. The starving bears started following the Dorito trail out the door! Mrs. Ards Class

  • Lorena helped Mrs. Reneau wipe the honey and water off of the furious adults. The Brown Bears followed the Dorito trail to the woods. They crunched and munched so many chips that they decided to find a cozy, dark cave and hibernate! The tired and hungry kids went back to their classroom for a yummy snack! Mrs. Reneaus Class
