    I t s a l l t h e b u z z . . . . S u m m e r

T hanks to YOU, Bee Mighty funded itsrst babies in 2013! With your generouscontributions, Bee Mighty has been able todirectly impact the lives of children in our community.

Our rst Mighty Bee to use Bee Mighty

funds for therapy was a 25-weeker, micro preemie that is now four years old. He is avery enthusiastic learner and developmen-tally delayed due to his extreme prematu-rity. This child also is non-verbal and hasa tracheotomy. Through the Music Therapy

provided by Bee Mighty, he began to ex- press himself for the rst time, by hum-ming through his trach! We are honored tohave funded music therapy for this mightywarrior for a year!

    Two-year-old, Noah, a surviving twin,

spent 159 of his rst days of life in Nov-ants Hemby Childrens Hospital Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit. As with mostmicro-preemies, eating is one of thechallenges he is working to overcome.Currently, he is fed through a feeding tube.

Bee Mighty funds allowed his parents totry an alternative therapy that directly im-

proves feeding complications. Bee Mightyfunded a 4-day intensive Anat BanielMethod therapy that will ultimately aid in

his food aversions, as well as enhance ver- bal development and speech.

These babies have already had a challeng-ing start to life. Together, we are single-handedly improving lives of these tiny

warriors. Thank you for your ongoing sup- port to these families and all the childrento come.

    Sincerely,

Candace & Michael Richter Bee Mighty Founders
