Innovative Teaching: doing something new in class.
Incorporate projects with real-world scenarios into your class.
You will never hear the words “when am I ever going to use
this?” again.
Make it real for your students.

After the conference
Our quest it to move the conference from a weekend experience to a 52 week a year adventure!
We expect our students to learn outside of class; we should expect ourselves to do the same!

Open Educational Resources
ITLC Google site
OER are just that; educational resources that are found in the public domain for others to use or have been released under a license that allows for public use.
YouTube, WolframAlpha, Google, and Wikipedia are examples of one type of Open
Resources.
Many schools have taken the leap to using OER for their students.
