Chromebook Management Workshop
Attend this workshop on Chromebook management using Google
Apps Admin Panel. Whether you are currently running a
ChromeBook deployment and want to learn more about the
management of these devices or you are looking at implementing
Chromebooks, this is the workshop for you. Our trainers are Google
Certified and have experience with 1:1 setups.
Participants will have hands-on learning opportunities from basic-to-advanced management
techniques for Chrome and Chromebook devices. There are over 100+ Chrome policies for users
right from the Google Admin Panel. Manage 10 or 1000 Chromebook devices with ease -- track
assets, control user access, pre-install and block apps, configure network access, create user
groups, customize user features, and more!

ITEC IT Conference Registration is now
open.
The ITEC IT Conference is a chance for IT professionals and district
technology leaders to connect and learn about the latest hardware
and software developments for schools. The 2014 IT Conference is
on March 19 & 20 and will be held at Ames Middle School.

Technology Fairs
ITEC sponsors three regional student technology fairs each spring.
The technology fairs offer K-12 students an opportunity to showcase
technology-based projects created as part of their instructional
curriculum in their schools.
Almost 300 projects will be presented statewide. The projects span
eight different categories including web presence, programming,
video/linear presentation, graphics/publishing, 3-D rendering/non-
linear animation, music/sound design, mobile apps, and innovative technology use.

ITEC is pleased to welcome Adam Bellow and Peter Reynolds as theKeynotes for ITEC 2014.
Adam Bellow, Founder and President of eduTecher and eduClipperbegan his career in education as an Assistant English Teacher at aHigh School for students with learning disabilities in New York City.
After earning a Masters Degree in both General and Special Education at Hunter College, where hetaught a graduate level course on integrating technology into the special education classroom,Adam became an English teacher at a High School on Long Island for several years. Then his twopassions collided - Technology and Education - as he became a Technology Training Specialist fora school district on Long Island. Adam works with educational leaders, teachers, and studentsfrom around the United States to help them infuse technology successfully in the classroom.Adam was recognized in 2011 as the Outstanding Young Educator of the Year by ISTE(International Society for Technology in Education) and in 2010 as an Emerging Leader as well asa finalist for the 2010 Totally Wired Teacher of Year award. Adam is happily married and the fatherof two wonderful boys. Peter Reynolds, is an accomplished writer, storyteller and illustrator, and brings his enthusiasmand energy to every project he creates. His best-selling books about protecting and nurturing thecreative spirit include The Dot, Ish and So Few of Me (Candlewick Press). The NorthStar(FableVision), Peter's cornerstone book, is an allegory that raises questions about how to seekout our own unique path through life. As a book, curriculum and musical, The North Star hasinspired children of all ages around the world. He recently published Rose's Garden, aheartwarming fable dedicated to the late Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy.
