This course provides students with the skillsand knowledge to carry out preventivemaintenance and undertake servicing workon air-conditioning systems, fire-fighting andfire protection systems, electrical andemergency services for commercial andresidential buildings.

Higher Nitec in Facility Management – 2 yrs

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to supervise themaintenance and management of facilities in commercial, industrial and residentialbuildings in accordance with authority requirements to ensure optimum operationof building equipment and systems.

Safety Focus in ITE’s Training

1. CSOC for all year 2 Nitec full time VT students before IA.

2. 1 module of 50 hours on ‘Lift Safety & Orientation’ for WLTD students

pitched at Construction Safety Supervisor & BizSAFE Level 2.

3. All modules have safety elements embed to contextualise safety

applications when covering the trade modules eg: Safety procedures to

access car door are taught under the topic “Maintain car door” in the “Lift &

Escalator System Maintenance” module.

4. Safety requirements from SS550, SS626 & WSHC Guidelines on safe

maintenance of lift & escalators are covered in our courses.

5. All practical tests have a compulsory to pass safety component.

6. Educate Sec students and public on the safe use of lifts and escalators

during our EIP, public workshops & ITE Fiesta.
