It's generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for music and sport, and others are not. However it's sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become good sports person or musician. Discuss the two ideas giving your opinion.

It is clear that some people are born with certain abilities, but research has shown that hard work and perseverance play an even more important role.In this modern society, people that have certain talents have become more successful in life. Some people might argue that children can be taught to become good sports people or musicians. This essay will discuss both views on this matter. To begin with, people who are born with talents, are extremely intelligent and they can do what they want more easily than others. Moreover, they can reach a higher level than another people. For example, if the children have a painting talent, they can draw plenty of pictures extremely well, although they do no training while most people must practice for a long time.In contrast, most people do not have talents, however, they can be taught or trained to become competent. People who learn to paint while they are a child, or study instruments when they are adults for a long time, will be successful. For instance, if I learn the piano for long a time; 2 or 3 years, I can become a professional instrumentalist.Taking everything into consideration, I strongly believe that people who have the talents, but do not train or work hard, can be very successful. On the other hand, if people do not have the talents, but they work hard with significant practice, they will finally be a success at the same level as people who are born with talents. It is important to remember that all of these things depend on the individual's personality. It is actually very common to hear people saying that "this kid was born to do this". There is much discussion as to whether people are indeed born with talents or anyone can be taught how to gain certain skills.

On the one hand, it is thought that each one of us has a specific talent that was born with it. Therefore, there are several children that are definetely very good at music or sports even from their young age even though they have not be taught how to do this before. Moreover, there are many children that have managed to develop their skills on their own without any help from experts. This is actually what impresses people and yrge them to believe that there are people that have been born with specifis talents. However, that does not mean that experts and teachers are not important, as they play an essential role in order to identify these talentes children and help them to improve their skills.

On the other hand, several people argue that everyone can become a good musician or athlete, for example, provided that they are taught by qualified teachers. What is needed is to be really keen on learning and willing to try hard in order to achieve your goal. There are lots of examples of children that they didn't seem to be able to ever be a musician, but after a lot of practise and lessons, they finally succeeded it. Everyone can become what he is dreaming through the right and professional training.

Taking all the above into consideration, I hold the view that there are actually some children that from the very young age seem to be very talented in different skills, but without the appropriate training from experts, noone can improve their skills in order to reach to the absolute perfect scale.some people find commuting to and from the office difficult .they say employers should allow their workers to do certain office tasks from home .what are the advantages and disadvantages of working from home

Topic: Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of working from homeGive reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Working from home is becoming an increasingly common career choice for a number of 21st-century employees. There a both numerous benefits and downfalls that come with working from home. In this essay, I will discuss both pros and cons of working from home and try to draw several conclusions.

One of the greatest advantages of working from home is cost and time saving when you do not have to commute to work. As a matter of fact, terrible traffic jam and hours of waiting will be not your concern if you chose to work from home. Furthermore, you can save a great deal of money spending on your cars or motorbikes. Secondly, working from home offers flexibility in managing your own time. You can work whenever and wherever you want in your house instead of sitting 8-hours long in the office. Your time at work is also much more flexible while it is not dependent on others schedule.

On the other hand, it requires a lot of self-discipline because you can be very lose your contraction when working from home. Without discipline, instead of working, you might end up doing something else and find excuses for yourself why you did not do this or that. Moreover, you will lose track of your time and even be disobedient with your own plans and schedules. Another major disadvantage of home-working is less professional experience. A large majority of people working at home do not really feel like they are professionals despite the load of works or opportunities they are working on. In fact, when youre at home, you feel at home, and hence you may be less motivated to perform like when you do in an actual office setting.

In conclusion, there are both pros and cons of this working style. Despite that it helps to save cost and time and also brings freedom to employees, others believe it causes distractions and unprofessionalism at work. In my opinion, it is better to keep work-life balance by separating personal life from work.Schools should concentrate more on teaching academic subjects because they are of greater benefit for children in the future. Less importance should be given to non-academic subjects such as sports and music.Do you agree or disagree ?For long time , Schools main focus have always been more academic in nature for the greater benefit of children future and have given less importance to co-curricular activities like sports and music. In my opinion this should continue as such for coming generation as well because of many valid reasons, although there are some implications.First of all, children are sent to school so that they can find good jobs and settle in life without much struggle. This can happen only when schools teach them subjects like science, maths, economics and commerce.Secondly, the world is ever changing because of technological advances and focus on academic subjects make it easier for children to keep themselves abreast of those innovations and advances. For example, subjects like computer science prepares the student to face the modern world of technology.thirdly, the children can always acquire skills in music or particular sports of their interest by taking extra classes or training outside of the school on their own, unlike academic subjects where you acquire those skills and formal certification only in schools, so it's only fair that schools train the students for what it's built for in the first place. However, not all students may be good in academics and may not help them to secure their future as professionals. Also, the children may not get dejected or discouraged, if they find out that they are good in some sports or music and even serve as a seed for them to reflect or channelize this towards academic areas. So it becomes important for schools to identify these and concentrate more on non-academic subjects as well.Nevertheless, for the greater benefit of majority of the children it's always better for schools to put more focus on academic subjects to secure their future, although some children specialty may not be academics. In modern society, whether children should learn the subjects that have less link with further career is an issue that arouses controversy. Several individuals assert that schools should only teach children the subjects which will benefit them in the future .Personally, Children should learn some so-called unimportant subjects such as music and sport as well.

It is generally accepted today that music and sports play an essential part in individuals daily life so as to the children. When it comes to the advantages of these kinds of courses, three points should be mentioned. At the beginning, sports help a child to maintain an active life style and a healthy body in the future. Meanwhile, according to scientists, listening to music or playing instruments can develops a higher level of thinking skill which contributes to childrens capacities of problem solving and evaluation. More importantly, all these activities can give the children more opportunities to socialize and build a long-lasting friendship. In other words, children learn how to communicate and cooperate with others which will also be beneficial to their career in the future.

However, I admit that learning music and sports may occupy the spare time of the teenagers. As students have to finish doing all the homework, some even have to attend after-school classes, they have less time to relax themselves. Learning other instruments or sports means more tasks and burdens for them. If the students can not balance these works well, they may fail to catch up with others in knowledge learning and the school courses.

In conclusion, personally I think children should learn some courses like music and sports. However, the governments should set rules to restrict the learning tasks and to guarantee the rest time for the children.some people think that having children watch television program is good for their mental development whereas others believe that this is not true. what is your opinion ? TV provides no educational benefits for a child under age 2. Worse, it steals time for activities that actually develop her brain, like interacting with other people and playing. A child learns a lot more efficiently from real interaction - with people and things, rather than things she sees on a video screen. TV viewing takes away the time that your child needs to develop important skills likelanguage, creativity, motor, and social skills. These skills are developed in the kids first two years (a critical time for brain development) through play, exploration, and conversation. Your kids language skills, for example, do not improve by passively listening to the TV. It is developedby interacting with people, when talking and listening is used in the context of real life. TV viewing numbs your kid's mind as it prevents your child from exercising initiative, being intellectually challenged, thinking analytically, and using his imagination. TV viewing takes away time from reading and improving reading skillsthrough practice (Comstock, 1991). Kids watching cartoons and entertainment television during pre-school years have poorer pre-reading skills at age 5 (Macbeth, 1996). Also, kids who watch entertainment TVare also less likely to read books and other print media (Wright & Huston, 1995). According to Speech and language expert Dr. Sally Ward, 20 years of research show that kids who are bombarded by background TV noise in their homes have trouble paying attention to voices when there is also background noise. Kids who watch a lot of TVhave trouble paying attention to teachers because they are accustomed to the fast-paced visual stimulation on TV. Kids who watch TV more than they talk to their family have a difficult time adjusting from being visual learners to aural learners (learning by listening). They also have shorter attention spans. School kids who watch too much TV also tend to work lesson their homework. When doing homework with TV on the background, kids tend to retain less skill and information. When they lose sleep because of TV, they become less alert during the day, and this results in poor school performance. A long-term study conducted by the Millennium Cohort Study and published in 2013 found that children who watched more than 3 hours of television, videos, or DVDs a day had a higher chance of conduct problems, emotional symptoms and relationship problems by age 7 than children who did not. Notably, they did not find the same problem with children who played video games for the same amount of time. TV exposes your kid to negative influences, and promotes negative behavior. TV shows and commercials usually show violence, alcohol, drug use and sex in a positive light. The mind of your kid is like clay. It forms early impressions on what it sees, and these early impressions determine how he sees the world and affect his grown-up behavior. For instance, twenty years of research has shown that children who are more exposed to media violence behave more aggressively as kids and when they are older. They are taught by TV that violence is the way to resolve conflict as when a TV hero beats up a bad guy to subdue him. Kids who watch too much TV are usually overweight, according to the American Medical Association. Kids often snack on junk food while watching TV. They are also influenced by commercials to consume unhealthy food. Also, they are not running, jumping, or doing activities that burn calories and increase metabolism. Obese kids, unless they change their habits, tend to be obese when they become adults. A recent study confirms this finding, suggesting that even justan hour of TVis associated with childhood obesity. Researchers from the University of Sydney report a link between total screen time and retinal artery width in children. Kids with lots of screen time were found to have narrow artery in their eyes, which may indicate heart risk. A2014 studypublished in the International Journal of Cardiology suggests that children aged 2 to 10 who watch TV for more than two hours a day is 30% more likely to be at risk for blood pressure compared to those who spend less time in front of TV. Lack of physical activity increased the risk even more - by 50%. The lead researcher Dr Augusto Cesar de Moraes, from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, warned that the condition can cause cardiovascular problems later in life. The findings are consistent with an earlier2009 study. TV watching also affects a childs health and athletic ability. The more television a child watches, even in the first years of life, the more likely he is to be obese and less muscularly fit, according to a study by the University of Montreal. Even though your kid does not aspire to be a football star, his athletic abilities are important not only for physical health, but predicting how physically active he will be as an adult. Every hourly increase in dailytelevision watching from two and a half years oldis also associated with bullying by classmates, and physical prowess at kindergarten, said Professor Linda Pagani of the University of Montreal and the CHU Sainte-Justine children's hospital. Some experts, however, believe that TV is not all that bad. They qualify though that viewing TV can be good if it is done in moderation, and if the program being watched is selected: Some TV shows can educate, inform and inspire. It can be more effective than books or audiotapes in teaching your kid about processes like how a plant grows or how to bake a cake. Studies show that kids who watch educational and non-violent childrens shows do better on reading and math tests than those who do not watch these programs. Kids who watch informative and educational shows as preschoolers tend to watch more informative and educational shows when they get older. They use TV effectively as a complement to school learning. On the other hand, kids who watch more entertainment program watch fewer informative programs as they get older (Macbeth, 1996). Preschoolers who viewed educational programstend to have higher grades, are less aggressive and value their studies more when they reach high school, according to a long-term study (Anderson, et. al, 2001). Finally, scientists from the University of Sienafoundthat children experience a soothing, painkilling effect by watching cartoons. So perhaps, a little entertainment TV can be a source of relief to kids who are stressed or are in pain. For more on how to make TV a more helpful rather than a harmful tSome parents believe that watching television is bad for their children. So, they try to restrict their children from watching TV. However, other parents think that there is nothing bad in watching TV. Personally, I think that watching TV brings children only benefits unless they spend in front of TV set less then a couple of hours daily. For the following reasons, which I will mention bellow, I believe that television plays an essential role in child's development.

First of all, television helps a child to extent his or her range of interests. Children can find out many new things and make many exiting discoveries for themselves. In addition to these practical benefits television improves children's vocabulary, their memory and gives them the opportunity to gain more knowledge. I think it is very essential for a child. Of cause, someone can say that there are plenty of different resources of information such as books and teachers. But, I think, in our modern world children must learn faster and use all contemporary technology in order to succeed. Secondly, watching cognitive programs helps children to learn more about wild life, our environment and about the importance of preserving our forest and wild animals that live there.

Scientists say that a child should not watch TV more then 40 minutes successively. For example, my mother always made us have a break after watching TV more then half an hour and let our eyes rest for several minutes before turning on the TV again. I think it is the best solution.

To sum up, I believe that television gives children and all people the opportunity to learn what can not be learn from books. Television and movies in particular allow people to feel the reality and see what they will most likely not be able to see in their lives. Personally, when I was a child I liked to watch cognitive programs about wild animals. Unfortunately, my family had only one TV, but these programs were the only ones we all wanted to watch. So, we gathered in our living room and watched them in complete silence and I always remember those moments with a smile on my face.Health services are the basic necessity for a person. Discuss the specific negative effects that were identified as ones with impact on tourist places. What are the solutions to this situation?Tourism can bring many economic and social benefits, particularly in rural areas and developing countries, but mass tourism is also associated with negative effects. Tourism can only be sustainable if it is carefully managed so that potential negative effects on the host community and the environment are not permitted to outweigh the financial benefits.Sponsored LinkEssay Writing Made EasyCorrect All Writing Mistakes AndPlagiarism In Your Essays Now!www.grammarly.comEconomic Effects -- PositiveTourism creates jobs, both through direct employment within the tourism industry and indirectly in sectors such as retail and transportation. When these people spend their wages on goods and services, it leads to what is known as the "multiplier effect," creating more jobs. The tourism industry also provides opportunities for small-scale business enterprises, which is especially important in rural communities, and generates extra tax revenues, such as airport and hotel taxes, which can be used for schools, housing and hospitals.Economic Effects -- NegativeSuccessful tourism relies on establishing a basic infrastructure, such as roads, visitor centers and hotels. The cost of this usually falls on the government, so it has to come out of tax revenues. Jobs created by tourism are often seasonal and poorly paid, yet tourism can push up local property prices and the cost of goods and services. Money generated by tourism does not always benefit the local community, as some of it leaks out to huge international companies, such as hotel chains. Destinations dependent on tourism can be adversely affected by events such as terrorism, natural disasters and economic recession.Social Effects -- PositiveThe improvements to infrastructure and new leisure amenities that result from tourism also benefit the local community. Tourism encourages the preservation of traditional customs, handicrafts and festivals that might otherwise have been allowed to wane, and it creates civic pride. Interchanges between hosts and guests create a better cultural understanding and can also help raise global awareness of issues such as poverty and human rights abuses.Social Effects -- NegativeVisitor behavior can have a detrimental effect on the quality of life of the host community. For example, crowding and congestion, drugs and alcohol problems, prostitution and increased crime levels can occur. Tourism can even infringe on human rights, with locals being displaced from their land to make way for new hotels or barred from beaches. Interaction with tourists can also lead to an erosion of traditional cultures and values.Environmental Effects -- PositiveTourism -- particularly nature and ecotourism -- helps promote conservation of wildlife and natural resources such as rain forests, as these are now regarded as tourism assets. It also helps generate funding for maintaining animal preserves and marine parks through entrance charges and guide fees. By creating alternative sources of employment, tourism reduces problems such as over-fishing and deforestation in developing nations.Environmental Effects -- NegativeTourism poses a threat to a region's natural and cultural resources, such as water supply, beaches, coral reefs and heritage sites, through overuse. It also causes increased pollution through traffic emissions, littering, increased sewage production and noise.Sponsored LinksWhen holiday season is coming, the growth of tourists will expand the number. In the same time, some destinations of tourism also peak in numbers, so indigenous inhabitants have to get ready to serve for supplying their demand for tourism needs; accommodation, place, and food. What is more, government will increase the income from the numbers of visitors. However, I think people have to realize that there are some impacts from the number of tourism for a country.Tourists believe that a wonderful view of a country can turn their life into a relaxing time to recover stressful. The cultural diversity, which derives from tribal or ethnic are the tourism destinations that possible to improve more income of a country. With the growing of tourists, the government also has a chance to raise the financial sources of a country, and to build public and health facilities; hospitals, roads and highways. Based on this example, I think that government should take much attention about its nature. However, in reality, tourism contribute one of the huge nature problems of a country. It is because visitors who came from cities consider that they do not have to improve the surrounding. The main reason is because the tourist destinations are poor of policies, and there is no rule and official penalty for the infraction to obey, so some tourists tend to ignore the matter of environment impacts. For example, tourists in the beach who littered rubbish unable to get any sanctions, but they are free to go anywhere else.In conclusion, the increasing of tourists, tourists seem as an impact of the nature problems, but tourists expand as an income in the same occasion. I think to decrease the impacts; every tourist should be given some introductions before entering a country by the government. With giving the introduction of a country to every visitor, it means tourism regards to obey the countrys rules and the penalties, so tourists tend more aware during travelling in every destination. I believe with this way, the purpose of clean nature obtains convenience.
