WHAT’S THE NAME OF YOUR GOD?
Exodus 3:1-6, 13, 14, 15, 18. 13. “Then Moses said to God, ‘Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” 14. “And God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.” And He said ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” 15. “Moreover God said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the chil-dren of Israel: ‘The LORD, God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is ’My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.”
18. “The LORD, the GOD of the Hebrews has met with us. “

The LORD (YHWH-Yahweh), God (Elohim) of your fathers.
Yahweh is God’s name forever.
He is the God and Father of Jesus Christ. (Rev.1:4-6)

LET’S REASON TOGETHER.
[“And say, “Ours is] the religion of Allah. And who is better than Allah in [Ordaining] religion? And we are worshipers of Him.” (Qur’an 2:138 AL-BAQARAH).
(Sayeeh International Version)
Dear worshiper, do you really know the very “God” you
worship and serve, and what He requires of you? In a nut-shell,
who is your God?
The Qur’an 2:138, teaches that Allah has ordained the religion
for Muslims. Likewise, in the Bible, Jesus Christ has made
known the God His followers and disciples should worship and
serve.
In John 8:54, 55, Jesus boldly declared to the Pharisees: “If I
glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you
claim as your God, is the one who glorifies Me. Though you
do not know Him, I know Him. If I said I did not, I would be a
liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word.”
To be more specific, Jesus instructed Mary: “go to my brethren
and say unto them, I ascend unto My Father, and your Father; and My God, and your God.” (John 20:17 KJV)
True Christians know and believe that the Bible is the Word
of their God; therefore, they live according to it, as admon-
ished by Jesus: “Man does not live on bread alone but on
every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matt. 4:4
Deut. 8:3)
5
More specifically, Jesus commands His disciples: “Whoever
serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will
be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.” (John 12:26)
True Muslims, of course, also believe that the Qur’an is the Word
of Allah as confirmed in Qur’an 55:1-2. The Ar—Rahman says,
“Allah most Gracious! It is He who has taught the
Qur’an.” (Yusif Ali version)
Thus, we are assured that true Christians and Muslims
uphold their respective Sacred Books; namely, the Bible and the
Quran for guidance.
Nevertheless, this study concerns those who have evidence of
what their own “Holy Books” teach and command them to do.
We must, therefore, allow the Sacred Books to speak for
themselves, so that we do not depend on the whims and
caprices of men, or “pressure-groups.”
The Bible lovingly says, “Come now, and let us reason
together.” (Isaiah 1:18). Below are the three crucial and undenia-
ble areas that will enable us to establish the difference between
Jesus of the Bible and Isa of the Qur’an.
1. THE MISSION NAME OF JESUS.
2. THE BIRTH PLACES OF JESUS AND ISA.
3. JEHOVAH CLAIMS FATHERHOOD.
6
SECTION ONE
THE MISSION NAME OF JESUS.
The mission of Jesus on earth is in His Name. His Hebrew
Name is JEHOSHUAH, meaning “Jehovah is Saviour.” Jesus
[IESOUS] is the Greek equivalent of Joshua,(Yeshua, Yashua)
which is the short form of Jehoshuah. His Mission Name
“Jesus” was declared before He [The Word of God] was
conceived and became flesh (John 1:1, 4). The name Jesus
(Yeshua) has always meant Saviour or Jehovah saves.
In Luke 1:26-38, the Angel Gabriel told Mary who her Son
would be and what should be His name. In verse 31 he specifi-
cally says, “You will be with child and give birth to a son and
you are to give Him the name Jesus.” It was also confirmed to
Joseph why the child should be called Jesus. In Matthew 1:20-
21 the angel said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to
take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in
her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and
you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His
people from their sins.” In Luke 2:21, the Bible says that, “On
the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise Him, He was
named Jesus, the name the angel had given Him before He
had been conceived.”
BORN THE CHRIST AND SAVIOUR
On the very day Jesus was born, an angel of the Lord appeared
to the shepherds who were in the fields and announced to them
the Good News. The angel informed the shepherds: “Do not be
afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all
people. Today in the town of David a Savoir has been born to
you; He is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10-11)
7
Christ means Messiah or the Anointed One. In Greek, Hebrew and English, the meaning remains the same: “The Anointed One.”
What was the Son of Mary anointed for? Why call Him Christ? He
was anointed, set apart, chosen to be the Saviour – chosen to fulfil
unerringly, all the Old Covenant prophesies concerning Him.
Jesus Himself referred to them in Luke 24:25-27, 44-47. (Luke
1:68-70). Jesus Christ means the “Anointed Saviour” -the one
separated for the Salvation of mankind before the foundation of
the world, according to 1Peter 1:18-20.
Salvation for all humanity was proclaimed in Luke 2:10 by the
angel who announced the birth of Jesus: “...I bring you good news
of great joy that will be for all people.”
DOES ISA IN ARABIC MEAN SAVIOUR?
Arabic scholars have not been able to declare that Isa means
saviour. If they cannot, then what informed their translation?
Whereas, Arabic scholars cannot justify their use of Isa to mean
Jesus, the Greek name “IESOUS” means exactly as the Hebrew
name JEHOSHUAH, which is Jehovah saves. If the name Isa is not
the Arabic equivalent of JEHOSHUAH – meaning ‘Jehovah saves,’
then the Arabic Isa is not Jesus, “the Son of God,” as proclaimed
by angel Gabriel in Matthew 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-38; Luke 2:1-11.
8
SECTION TWO
THE BIRTHS OF JESUS AND ISA COMPARED.
1. THE BIRTH PLACE OF JESUS.
The coming, the work and the sufferings of Jesus were prophesied
many centuries in advance.
In Matthew 5:17, 18, the Lord Jesus Himself told His disciples
that He came to fulfill the law and the prophets and insisted that
nothing would be changed or removed “until everything is
accomplished.” If the Religions had taken the pains to diligently
study Jehovah’s Word in the Bible, they would have understood
what Jesus meant by “until everything is accomplished.”
In Luke 24:44, Jesus said to His disciples, “This is what I told you
while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is
written about me in the Law of Moses, the prophets and the
psalms.”
WHERE WAS JESUS TO BE BORN?
a) The birth place of Jesus was prophesied (500 years) even before Mary knew she was going to be with child.
In Micah 5:2, the Bible says, “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will
come for Me One who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins
are from old, from ancient times.”
b) Angel Gabriel Was Sent To Assure The Virgin Mary That She
Was Going To Be With Child (Luke 1:26-31)
After the angel’s visitation, Mary hurried to a town in the hill
country of Judea and stayed with her relative Elizabeth for three
months. (Luke 1:39-56)
9
Joseph and his wife Mary, who was expecting a child, went to
Bethlehem the town of David to register for the census decreed by
Caesar Augustus. (Luke 2:1-5)
c) Jehovah’s Angel Confirmed Jesus’ Birth Place to the Shep-
herds.
The angel told the shepherds: “Do not be afraid. I bring you
good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today
in the Town of David a Savior has been born to you;
He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: you will find
a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” (Luke
2:10-12)
d) The people’s Chief priests and teachers of the Law knew
the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem in Judea.
(Matthew 2:3-6) (Micah 5:2).
When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem
with him. When he had called together all the people’s chief
priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ
was to be born.
“In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the
prophet has written:”
“But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means
least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a
ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.”
10
IMPORTANT TO NOTE.
Mary placed the baby Jesus in a manger. (Luke 2:6, 7)
“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born
and she gave birth to her firstborn, a Son. She wrapped Him in
cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no
room for them in the inn.”
2. THE BIRTH PLACE OF ISA
The Holy Qur’an says that angels told Mariam that she would
have a word from Allah whose name would be Isa. Quran 3:45
(AL-IMRAH)
“Behold the angels said: ‘O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings
of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus,
the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and hereafter and of
(the company of) those nearest to Allah; He shall speak to the
people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the
company) of the righteous.”
i) The Qur’an says that Maryam retired to a remote place when
she became pregnant. (Qur’an 19:22) (Yusif Ali)
“So she conceived him and she retired with him to a remote
place”.
ii) When she was in labor, the pains drove her to the trunk of a
palm-tree. (Qur’an 19:23)
“And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-
tree: she cried (in her anguish): “Ah! Would that I had died
before this! Would I had been a thing forgotten and out of
sight!”
iii) A voice spoke to her from beneath the palm-tree.
(Qur’an 19:24)
“But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree):
Grieve not! For thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee.”
11
iv) Food was provided for her from the palm-tree,
(Qur’an 19:25).
“And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: it will let
fall fresh ripe dates upon thee. So eat and drink and cool (thine)
eye.”
v) Maryam herself brought the (babe) to her people.
(Qur’an 19:27)
“At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in
her arms). ‘They said: ‘O Mary! ‘Truly a strange thing hast thou
brought!
NOTE CAREFULLY
The Virgin Mary of the Bible was told in Nazareth that she was
going to be with child. Yet she brought forth her firstborn Son in
Bethlehem, according to Scripture. (Micah 5:2). Jesus Christ of
the Bible was specifically born in a manger in Bethlehem and
not under a palm tree. Mary, the daughter of David did not
need to carry her Baby out to show Him to people. God’s angels
were detailed to make the announcement. The shepherds who
heard the message hurried to Bethlehem and found Mary and
Joseph and the baby exactly where the angels had mentioned.
(Luke 2:15. 16).The people’s chief priests and the teachers of the
Law knew by the Holy Scriptures, where the Messiah was to be
born. They informed King Herod that, according to the Holy
Scriptures, the Messiah would be born “in Bethlehem in
Judea.” (Matthew 2:5, 6).
Later, when the magi from the east left to look for the child, they were
led by the star to the house in which He was. (Matthew 2:1-11). In
short, Jesus was born at an identifiable place in Bethlehem, where the
prophets of God, shepherds, Magi and angels had testified about.
“This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths
and lying in a manger.”
12
On the contrary, Isa son of Maryam was born under a palm-tree.
Strangely, where Maryam retired to, is not even identifiable in the
Qur’an. The Qur’an only says, “Relate in the Book the story of Mary,
when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.” (Qur’an
19:16)
However, where in the East is not mentioned, but in Surah 19:22, the
Qur’an says, “So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a
remote place.” The Qur’an did not mention that Maryam travelled to
Bethlehem and gave birth to Isa in a manger.
Nonetheless, let it be well noted that Mary the mother of Jesus, unlike
Maryam the mother of Isa, was accompanied by Joseph her legal
husband. (Matt. 1:20; Luke 2: 1-7).
PLACE OF BIRTH: A DETERMINATE FACTOR.
The two different and unrelated places of birth imply, two
different and unrelated persons are being mentioned.
The Bible and the Qur’an are obviously talking about two completely
different persons. One was born in a manger in Bethlehem of Judea—
a place that is identifiable even on this present day map of Israel; the
other, was born under a palm-tree in some unspecified place, which
the Quran describes as “a place in the East.”
13
SECTION THREE
JEHOVAH CLAIMS FATHERHOOD.
YAHWEH (JEHOVAH), the God of Israel has an Eternal Son. He
is the very God Jesus referred to when He said, “Hear O Israel,
the LORD our God, the LORD is one.” (Mark 12:29; Deut. 6:4)
Which God did Jesus claim as His Father; and which God
claimed and confirmed Jesus as His Son? The HOLY BIBLE
declares unequivocally that, “Jehovah of the Bible” has a Son;
but on the other hand, the Holy Qur’an declares that Allah of the
Qur’an has no son.
Now, what do the Sacred books say?
1. JEHOVAH, GOD OF ISRAEL CLAIMS FATHERHOOD.
A. WITH JEHOVAH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
THE ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH DOES NOT REQUIRE A WIFE TO BEGET A SON.
Angel Gabriel declared to Mary that with God (JEHOVAH)
nothing is impossible (Luke 1:34-37). In Mark 10:27 (NIV).
Jesus also confirmed it by saying, “With man this is impossible,
but not with God; all things are possible with God.” For
further confirmation of this truth, please read the following:
Gen. 17:1; Gen. 18:13-14; Jer. 32:17, 26-27
B. JEHOVAH, THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF
ISAAC AND THE GOD OF JACOB, CONFIRMED JESUS AS
HIS SON.
In Matthew 3: 16-17, the Bible says, “As soon as Jesus was
baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven
was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove
and lighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, this is My
Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.”
14
C. JEHOVAH RECONFIRMS JESUS AS HIS SON IN THE
PRESENCE OF MOSES AND ELIJAH.
In Luke 9:28-36, the Bible says, “About eight days after Jesus
said this, He took Peter, John and James with Him and went up
onto a mountain to pray. And as He was praying, the appearance
of His face changed, and His cloths became as bright as a flash
of lightning.”
Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talk-
ing with Jesus. They spoke about His departure, which He was
about to bring to fulfilment at Jerusalem. Peter and his compan-
ions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they
saw His glory and the two men standing with Him.
As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to Him, “Master, it is
good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters-one for
you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know
what he was saying.)
While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them,
and they were afraid as they entered the cloud.
A voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, whom I
have chosen; Listen to Him.” When the voice had spoken, they
found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves,
and told no one at that time what they had seen.”
D. JESUS CHRIST AFFIRMS JEHOVAH AS HIS
FATHER
Jesus plainly claims Jehovah God as His Father. Here are some
pertinent examples!
Luke 10:22 (Matthew 11:27)
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one
knows who the Son is except the Father and no one knows who
the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son
chooses to reveal Him.”
15
John 5:16, 17, 18
“So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the
Jews persecuted Him. Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is
always at His work to this very day, and I, too, am working.’
For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him; not
only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God
His Father, making Himself equal to God.”
John 6:43-44
“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered. “No one
can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I
will raise him on the last day.”
John 8:19
“Then they asked Him, ‘Where is your father?’ ‘You do not
know me or my Father,’ Jesus replied. ‘If you knew me, you
would know my Father as well.”
John 8:54-55
Jesus replied, “If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My
Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who
glorifies me. Though you do not know Him, I know Him. If I
said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know Him and
keep His word. Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of
seeing my days; he saw it and was glad.”
16
SECTION FOUR
ALLAH DISCLAIMS FATHERHOOD. According to the Qur’an, Allah does not have a son. The follow-ing verses from the Holy Quran confirm that ALLAH disclaims the power to have his own son.
A. Allah does not have a wife to beget a son.
Quran 72:3, 4 (Al-Jinn) (Yusif Ali) “And exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies about Allah”.
B. It is not befitting to the Majesty of Allah that He should
beget a son.
Quran 19:35 (Maryam) (Yusif Ali)
“It is not befitting to (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget
a son. Glory is to Him! When He determines a matter, He only
says to it “Be and it is.”
C. Allah does not have a consort.
Quran 6:101 (AL-ANAM) (Yusif Ali)
“To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth:
how can He have a son when He hath no consort? He created all
things, and He hath full knowledge of all things.”
D. Allah does not have a wife.
Quran 6:101 (Saheeh International)
[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He
have a companion? [i.e., wife] and He created all things?
E. It is a monstrous thing to say Allah has a son.
Quran 19:88, 89 (Maryam) “They say: ‘(Allah) Most Gracious
has begotten a son!’ Indeed ye have put forth a thing monstrous!
17
SECTION FIVE
ISA DENIES HIS BEING THE SON OF ALLAH.
Anabi Isa of the Qur’an personally denied his own deity and
denied ALLAH as his father.
Qur’an 5:116 (AL-MA’IDAH)
“And behold, Allah will say: “O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst
thou say unto men, “Worship me and my mother as gods in
derogation of Allah?” He will say: Glory to Thee! Never could I
say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou
wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my
heart, though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in
full all that is hidden.” Never said I to them aught except what
Thou didst command me to say, to wit, “Worship Allah, my
Lord and your Lord;” and I was a witness over them whilst I
dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the
Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.”
18
SECTION SIX
THE CURSE OF ALLAH ON CHRISTIANS.
Apart from the confusion created by the unjustified use of “Jesus” for Isa, the Qur’an also says that a curse is placed on “Christians” who say that Christ is the Son of God.
Qur’an 9:30 (AT-Taw bah) [Yusif Ali version]
“The Jews call ‘Uzayr’ a son of God and Christians call Christ
the Son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they
but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say.
Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away fr om
the Truth!” [The Saheeh International version says “May
Allah destroy them.”]
Dear worshiper, note carefully what the Qur’an is saying about
Christians. Why should Allah curse them?
All truly blood-bought, Holy-Spirit-filled Christians believe that
Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. Christians are not
called to worship Allah; the Bible says that Christians are called
to worship and serve the very God and Father of Jesus.
(Rev. 1:4-6)
19
SECTION SEVEN
WHAT THE QUR’AN SAYS AGAINST CHRISTIANS.
1. Muslims must not take Christians as friends or allies.
Surah 5 :51
“O you also have believed, do not take the Jews and the
Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another.
And whoever is an ally to them among you— then indeed, he
is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing
people.”
2. Muslims must fight those who do not believe in Allah.
Surah 9:29
“Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last day
and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His
Messenger have made unlawful and also do not adopt the
religion of truth [i.e. Islam] from those who were given the
Scripture- [Fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while
they are humble.”
3. Christians are the worst creatures and hell-bound.
Surah 98:6
“Indeed, they who disbelieved among the people of the scrip-
ture and the polytheists will be in the fire of hell, abiding
eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.”
20
SECTION EIGHT
THE BIBLE WARNS ABOUT FALSE MESSIAHS
Matthew 24:23 – 25 (NLT)
23 “Then if anyone tells you, ‘look, here is the Messiah, or
‘There He is, don’t believe it.”
24 “For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and
perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if
possible, even God’s chosen ones.”
25 “See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.”
Do a self test!
A) who denies that Jesus is the Christ? 1John 2:22 (NKJV) “Who is a liar: He is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.”
B) Could anyone deny the Son and confess only the Father?
1John 2:23 (NKJV)
“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, the one
who confesses the Son has the Father also.”
C) Who abides both in the Son and in the Father?
1John 2:24 (NKJV)
“As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the
beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in
you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.”
2John 9-11 (NKJV)
9 “Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine
of Christ does not have God–He who abides in the
doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.”
21
SECTION NINE
THE TRUE CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED!
1. Jesus Himself confirmed His crucifixion.
Matthew 26:1-2 (NKJV)
“Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these
sayings, that He said to His disciples, ‘you know that after
two days is the Passover, and the Son of man will be deliv-
ered up to be crucified.”
2. Angels of God confirmed the words of Jesus.
Luke 24:5-7 (NKJV)
“Then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth,
they said to them, ‘why do you seek the living among the
dead?
He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you
when He was still in Galilee, saying
‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sin-
ful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’”
3. The Apostles preached the crucified Christ.
a) 1Cor. 1:22-25 (NKJV)
“For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but
we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and
to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called both
Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of
God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and
the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
b) 2Cor. 2:1-2(1-8) (NKJV)
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with
excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testi-
mony of God. For I determined not to know anything among
you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”
22
SECTION TEN
ANOTHER JESUS AND A DIFFERENT GOSPEL.
Qur’an 3:3, 4; 42-48; 5:46-47, 68, 69, 110, 111; 7:157, 158; 9:111; 48:29; 57:27
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS
a) 2Corinthians 11:1-4 (NKJV) “Oh, that you would bear with me in a little folly—and indeed you do bear with me. For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different Spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel, which you have not accepted-you may well put up with it.”
b) Galatians 1:6-9 (NKJV)
“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who
called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,
which is not another, but there are some who trouble you and
want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
But even if we or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel
to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I
say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what
you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade
men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased
men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was
preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it
from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation
of Jesus Christ.”
23
SECTION ELEVEN
THE COMMAND TO LOVE OUR ENEMIES.
Matthew 5:43-46 (NKJV)
“You have heard that it was said, ‘you shall love your neighbor
and hate your enemy.’
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully
use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father
in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good,
and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if you love those who love you, what rewards have you? Do
not even the tax collectors do the same?

CONCLUSION.
THE SACRED BOOKS HAVE DECLARED.
Note Carefully.
According to the Qur’an, ALLAH vehemently denies having a son.
The Qur’an says it is unbefitting to His Majesty to beget a son. The
Quran affirms that all who say that Allah has a son or He begets,
are foolish and liars. The Quran further says that such persons
should be warned, because what they say is only falsehood. (Qur’an
18:4, 5 AL-KAHF).
According to Quran 5:166 (AI –Ma’idah), Isa son of Maryam never ever asked his followers to worship him, for it would be in derogation of Allah. On the contrary, Jesus declares that- those who serve Him would be honoured by the Father. (John 12:26)
It is marvelous to know that, JEHOVAH is not ashamed or abased to declare that He has His own Son. The Bible says in Titus 1:2 and Hebrews 6:18 that, “it is impossible for God; namely Jehovah, to lie.” Who then says that Jehovah God cannot have a Son because He does not have a wife? With Jehovah God all things are possible. He does not need a wife to have a Son of His own.
The Bible says, “Who has understood the mind of the LORD or
instructed Him as His counselor? Whom did the LORD consult to
enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way? Who was it
that taught Him knowledge or showed Him the path of under-
standing?” (Isaiah 40:13, 14)
NOTE CAREFULLY Whenever and wherever Jesus of Nazareth mentioned, “My Father,” He never meant Allah, because truly, Allah does not have a son, and no one has the right to force it on him. Isa son of Maryam, denies having asked his followers to worship him; Jesus Christ the Son of Jehovah, declares plainly, that He and the Father deserve the same honour.
25
Is there any human being or prophet who could utter such a thing,
except the Son of God?
In John 5:22, 23, Jesus spoke clearly to the Jews: “Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent Him.”
What about the curse of Allah against Christians?
Do Muslims really believe that Allah could curse Christians for de-claring that their Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God? Christians know that Jesus is the Son of Yahweh, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob. (Exod. 3:6, 16; 4:5) Christians have no reason to fear the curse of Allah, for they are children of the Almighty God. (John 1: 10-13).
Christians are Royal Priests to serve the God and Father of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 1:4-6).
As far as the two Sacred Books are concerned, Jehovah and
Allah cannot refer to the One and the same God. Jesus of the Bible
and Isa of the Qur’an are not one and the same.
What one really needs to ask are these crucial questions:
1. Which God do I want to follow and serve?
2.Which God guarantees eternal life and forgiveness of sins?
Remember, the Bible says, “For God so loved the world [including
you] that He gave His One and only Son [Jesus] that whoever
believes in Him shall never perish but have eternal life.” (John
3:16)
Dear worshiper, choose life! Now that you know the true Christ
Jesus, surrender your whole life to Him by accepting and
confessing Him as your only Lord and Saviour.

JESUS EVER PRESENT TO SAVE
REPENTANCE PRAYER
Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God. You are
the Messiah come in the flesh to destroy the works of the devil.
You are the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to God
the Father except through you.
I now confess and repent of all my sins and beg you to forgive me.
Please cleanse me from all unrighteousness and deceptions. I
accept and confess you as my Lord and Savior.
For you died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the
dead. I believe that your blood cleanses me now from all sins.
Thank you for redeeming me, cleansing me, justifying me and
sanctifying me by your precious blood. Amen.
GROWING IN CHRIST.
Now that you have given your life to Christ, you have become a
member of His body. You need to “grow up into Him, who is the
Head, that is, Christ.”
From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every
supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in love, as each part
does its work. (Ephesians 4:16)
Please you may write to us for other Christian growth
materials.
