    PRELIMINARY DESIGN

    IT REQUIREMENTS

    DIGITAL

    The Nest is mainly going to be a public space. There are also

    a website and social media functionalities offered. Next to this

    we need retail functionalities for the ticket office, shop and

    restaurant/bar. Only the archive and specific back office areasof the Nest will be excludes for the public and give direct

    access to the Nestl network. For this reason there are four

    functionalities that ask for different IT solutions.

    Public spacesThe public spaces require:

    Open wifi surroundings for the visitors

    Personalized activation of different digital exhibits

    Stand alone experiences, with specific IT requirements

    Local servicing and maintenance system is needed foral hardware concerning the experiences.

    Someone needs to check on a regular basis that the

    experiences are working as they should, include light

    and sound.

    General servicing and maintenance plan.

    Restaurant system

    Bar system

    Up dating system (CMS) of exhibits and programming

    Nestl archive and back office spaces To be determined by Nestl employees
