Target AudienceThis program has been specifically designed for gynecologic surgeons, urologic surgeons, and other interested pelvic surgeons.

Goals and Objectives Management of a wide variety of pelvic surgical problems will be discussed. New insights and current information will enable participants to augment both their clinical and surgical skills.

Surgical videos will be presented. Adequate time will be scheduled for question and discussion sessions.

After participating in this CME activity, participants should be able to describe and discuss:

• Their updated knowledge of pelvic anatomy to assist in planning and performing successful pelvic surgery

• How to decrease the incidence of the most common complications in pelvic surgery

• The pros and cons of hysterectomy and the surgical route of hysterectomy in pelvic reconstructive surgery

• The current treatment of pelvic support defects and urinary incontinence

• The performance of simple and complicated vaginal hysterectomy

• The benefits and risks of various biomaterials and bolsters used in pelvic reconstructive surgery
