Wear Anything Day
We have received a lovely note from The Turner family.
“We felt we really needed to write to you all to say a huge
Thank you to both the School for organising last week’s
non school uniform day and for the overwhelming support and
generosity of donations given to help us reach our target of
sponsoring a room at Ronald McDonald House Birmingham.
The funds raised have helped us reach the halfway mark and we
can’t thank you enough. We’re pleased to say William is improving
daily, and we hope he will continue that way and will be back at
school very soon. With heartfelt thanks, The Turner family xx”
Netball and Football Teams
We are so proud of the girls who played their first tournament last Wednesday at Paget
High School. They played three matches against Shobnall, All Saints and Rykneld; they lost
the first match only by 1 goal, won the second match and drew the last one. Their netball
skills improved match by match and they came together as a strong team. They are now
through to the upper league tournament in March against the Dove Valley Schools.
Well done girls!!
Football Teams
Last week, our amazing A team played a match against Richard Wakefield at Tutbury.
The team played really well and the final score was 10-0 to John of Rolleston.
The brilliant B team played against Needwood School and again showed us how skilful they
are. It was a very exciting match but the final score was 2-1 to Needwood.
Well done to both teams.
As you can see, all our sporting teamsare performing well at the moment and we are sure this
will continue in the future.
ParentPay Accounts
Payment for school meal should be paid in advance via ParentPay.
Over half term, please clear any outstanding balances and ensure sufficient funds are available
for your child's lunches.
If accounts are in arrears when we return, no further school dinners will be served and you will
need to provide your child with a packed lunch.
Please refer to the Debt Policy on our school website for further details.
