Mauricio Valverde may be 24-years-old, but his accomplishments set him apart from his generation group. As a current student at the Miami Culinary Institute in Downtown, he’s already running his own restaurant! MyCityEats recently sat down with the owner of Rizio’s Peruvian Cuisine as he explained his culinary vision. He’s focusing on Novo-Andino cuisine, which has become quite popular in Peru.

The menu is all about fusion. I like bringing in Italian, Asian French aspects into my cooking, but here you find a mix of Peruvian and Italian. We have some great quinoa dishes, which are a little healthier than beans. We also have a colorful trio of ceviches served according to the spice level you like. Another option is called Tiraditos, small sashimi-style slices. You can get those with fish or octopus and a shrimp option is in the works.

We are a family owned and operated restaurant that wants to bring our community a delicious and diverse menu in a friendly and welcoming environment.

First and foremost, our emphasis is on the quality and taste of our food.Combined with affordable pricing, it’s a guaranteed good time! We’ll let our food speak for

itself. All we can say is it’s Mad Delicious! We truly look forward to serving everyone and hope you enjoy it all!

Owner Chef Wilkinson, “Ken” Sejour has grabbed his native Creole cuisine by the fishtail and created Haitian seafood for the masses.

Born in the Bahamas to Haitian parents, Ken and the late Jude Pierre opened their first Chef Creole Restaurant on 77 St NE 2nd Ave. From there they relocated to North Miami.Since then,

he has established a third location at 200 NW 54th Street. In addition to the new location, he has introduced his own sauce to be marketed. Chef Creole’s food crosses all cultural barriers...it’s simply delicious! Chef’s catering has expanded to include large weddings, festivals, and parties. He is opening another location in the near future.

Beware:Fact is that you or a member of your family could be one of the tens of milions of people that suffer from allergies. The

odds are the culprit could be millions of

dust mites that make a home for them

themselves in your mattress and our feeding on the dead skin you and your family shed every night. Gross right?
