All good things come to an end. This includes summer vacations and the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSc(Pharm)) program. To celebrate 70 years of the BSc(Pharm) and its grads, there will be a “Wrap Party” on Saturday, September 14. The event will include an exciting continuing education session in the morning, followed by campus-wide Homecoming Day festivities for alumni and friends, followed by a banquet dinner with a trip down memory lane in the evening. The event is being spearheaded by a committee of alumni volunteers so please join them for this historic celebration and get your tickets today. At this time, we are also seeking nominations for the 2020 UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Agent of Change Award. UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences alumni are among the world’s leading health care practitioners, educators and researchers. The important work that they do has a significant impact in their communities and beyond. Each year the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumni Agent of Change Award recognizes one member from the Faculty’s alumni community for their remarkable achievements. If you know an inspirational alum who is truly outstanding at what they do and creating positive change locally, nationally or globally please nominate them today. The nomination deadline is September 27, 2019 and the Alumni Agent of Change website has more information. Saturday, September 14, 2019 - Alumni who graduated from 1949–2019 from the BSc(Pharm) program are invited to a “Wrap Party” for the culmination of the program. The day will include continuing education opportunities, a chance to enjoy on-campus attractions, other alumni UBC Homecoming Day activities at a festival, followed by an evening reception and dinner to celebrate the many successes of the program. Get your tickets.
