The whole SBS team worked very hard to prepare their performances for the show!

Endless days of dance and play rehearsals, making play props in art lessons and making sure we don’t

forget our lines or dance moves!

Secondary customized and made their own costume with some DIY ideas online

We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed

Given the rushed up lifestyle we are living nowadays, there is hardly any time to sit down

and relax, or spend quality time preparing meals!

Sometimes, it is ok to spoil your kids but

people need to respect the boundaries. Parents

are the ones who raise you and make you the person you will

be in the future.

For example, 11 year olds should not have the newest iPhone or any phone, let kids be kids and live their childhoods not constantly looking at a

glowing phone screen.

We shouldn’t overbuy too many gifts either, as they will expect too many things at once.

Especially if the gifts are expensive, kids start to say they “need” expensive or branded items but they

really don’t.

Secondary recently visited the EcoPark in La Nucía to learn more about how to create a better

environment by reusing or recycling products.

We made some cute plant pots using plastic bottles and even played a treasure hunt around the park!

Secondary had a fantastic time cooking different varieties of paella

on Friday, 14th December!

Seafood, chicken, pork and vegetable paella....we had it all!

December, exploring career options!

Parents of SBS dedicated

some time to sharing their real life experiences in their

professions and giving guidance towards choosing an

appropriate educational stream!

We would like to thank all the

parents that made time to give the students an eventful

To start experiencing what it is like to move from Primary school to Secondary, on 13th December, Year

6 had a Maths lesson with Miss Kari! Students showed

immense enthusiasm and concentration

that we learnt up place value in up

to 9-digit numbers rather than just 7-digit

numbers!

We had some interactive

activities, time-limited challenges

& also did som exercises from the

textbook!

In Science, KS3 has been stressing over the importance of recycling.

While keeping the festive spirit alive, students collected plastic bottles for a few weeks and used their creativity to make a recycled Christmas tree!

On Friday 14th of December, SBS held their annual Christmas Day. It began with some Christmas

carolling in lovely Christmas jumpers!

Later, many handmade decorations, sweet treats &

Boil 3/4 of water in a medium pan over a medium-high heat. Add 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix until smooth. Add in milk and return to a boil.

Whisk in chocolate and add sugar until smooth. Thus could take around 10-15 minutes. Once finished,divide into cups, top up with cream,marshmallows and a spilling of chocolate

to finish! Enjoy❤

Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of cocoa

powder(add more if needed). 3 cups of whole milk.

6 grams of semi sweetened chocolate (finely chopped). 3 tablespoons of granulated

sugar. Whipped cream for serving.

Candy-cane-lip-scrub$You will need: Sugar, Red Food Colour, Pepper Mint

Extract, Mason Jar, Candy Cane & Olive Oil

$1) Mix 2 teaspoons of sugar with 2 of olive oil & 8 drops of peppermint

extract$2) Separate the mixture in 2 bowls & add red

food colour to one half$3) Add the mixture in red & white layers

into the jar till it is full.

$4) Finally secure the lid ,add a candy cane with ribbon for that extra touch and

you’re done!

All you need is a jar and some Christmas themed decorations to create that

perfect winter wonderland ❄

❄1) Glue the decorations on the inside of the lid.

❄2) Now fill the jar with 3/4 of water and glitter.
