organized a central celebration of the Victory Week

under the slogan (victorious and build) in the

occasion of the liberation of the city of Mosul from

ISIS. The Media Center of the Ministry said that

"the celebration began with the verses of the Holy

Quran, followed by reading Surah Al-Fatiha on the

lives of our martyrs, and then the Minister praised

the great victories achieved by our security forces.

service plan for the second half of the year 2017 for Nineveh

province.

The Minister mentioning that the Ministry is prepare a study to

rehabilitation the services in the city

The Minister said that the Directorate of Public Municipalities, one of the Ministry's

entities started its service plan, which includes the implementation of several projects,

the most important of which are the infrastructure projects (rehabilitating the streets and

roads, repairing the excavation sites of water and sewage lines.

The Ministry is seeking to implement all the work in the province of Nineveh after

liberation from the terrorists.

the great efforts exerted by the technical and engineering staff of the Ministry, which was

the first Ministry enter the cities after liberation where it began the reconstruction of

infrastructure in the liberated cities, stressing that "the Ministry has completed

reconstruction of many projects of roads and bridges in the liberated areas (Dhuluiya and

Haruniya, Khaldiya and Wadi Shishin Al-Nareen and Al-Khazer) as well as carrying out

campaigns to restore water and sewerage projects and lift thousands of tons of rubble and

war debris from shops and public streets in preparation for the return of displaced people

to their homes.

Nineveh Province Mrs. Noura Al-Bajari.

The Minister discuss during the meeting the will of

Indian government of offering the Ministry grant to

implementation Projects in Iraq in the sectors of

(water and sewage), especially in the liberated areas

from ISIS.The Minister stressed the need to form a joint technical committee between the

Ministry and the Indian side to undertake the discussion of these projects and

mechanisms of the Indian grant and cooperation to sign a memorandum of

understanding in the future. the Minister added that the Iraqi Government is seeking

to build constructive relations with the developed countries in the urban sector and

services, including India, and we as a Ministry specialized in the field of urban and

service is very important to strengthen joint cooperation and signing of

memorandums of understanding between the two countries

the Indian Ambassador thanked the Minister for the hospitality and warm welcome,

calling for continued cooperation between the two sides and result contribute to the

reconstruction of Nineveh and other provinces.
