PRE-PLACEMENT TRAINING SESSIONS

P a g e | 14

Campus placement, also known as campus recruitment, is when companies visit to college’s

campus, conduct interviews, and hire candidates to work in their company. Placement and

Training programs plays a crucial role in shaping up the career growth of the students. It is

observed that the training programs are essential for the students to sharpen their skills and

achieve placement in the best companies.

The placement and training programs bridge the gap between the Institute and the

companies. We organize pre-placement training sessions to equip the eligible students with

the required skills to help them to achieve better results in their respective domains. The

Training & Placement cell organizes workshops and a series of mock interviews to identify the

talent and the weaknesses of the student. There are many reputed industries and

organizations that organize aptitude tests to shortlist the candidates for the next round.

Aptitude Tests mainly assess the ability of the candidates to solve a problem logically and

creatively. The training and placement cell organizes such sessions to brush up the logical,

analytical and verbal skills of the students and train them in solving these problems. We

prepare them for the aptitude test beforehand so that they can qualify for the next round of

selection process.

The employer assesses the communication skills of the candidates during the interview

round. If one possesses good communication skills, then it becomes easy to present their

thoughts in a better manner. The employer selects the candidates who have clarity in their

thoughts and speech while interacting with other team members at the workplace.

Therefore, T & P cell train and sharpen the communication skills of students so that they can

confidently interact with the employer and other students on campus placements.

We conducted Aptitude, PDP as well as Technical Sessions by experts during the whole

semester.
