Making waves with mobile

A global leader in mobile telecommunications, Israel is back in Barcelona for Mobile World Congress 2010 presenting a full spectrum of state-of-the-art product solutions, tailored for carriers, operators, content providers and users.

The Israel Pavilion at Mobile World Congress 2010 provides a centrally located, high profile venue for 32 of Israel’s leading high technology companies, presenting the latest solutions for current and future mobile communications. The pavilion is organized by The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute.

This year the Israeli exhibits highlight infrastructure and support hardware and software that enable efficient conversion to the latest 4th Generation networks, while optimizing the performance of current systems, thus maximizing operator revenue.

Other Israeli companies are demonstrating advanced billing and usage based data-mining systems, enabling operators to best adapt to changing market conditions. Israeli exhibitors also focus on the hardware side, with advanced microchips and software products enhancing the functionality, ease of use and usability of smartphones. As well, content is a strong presence at the show, featuring social networking, gaming and music sharing applications.

Lowering roaming and international communications costs are also featured, with applications bridging WiFi and cellular links, offering operators greater revenues while keeping subscribers within reach, and more.

Supported by member firms, private sector bodies, and the Israeli government, The Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute promotes business relationships between Israeli exporters and overseas businesses and organizations.
