ISO50001 2-day Energy Management System
Maintenance and Improvement Workshop
The ISO50001 energy management standard is a key tool
enabling companies to deliver their business, financial,
regulatory and environmental objectives through better
energy management. Certification to the standard also
demonstrates compliance with relevant obligations under the
EU Energy Efficiency Directive.
Who should attend:
The workshop is targeted at personnel in the organization
tasked with the operation & improvement of an energy
management system including environmental managers,
utility managers & engineering personnel.
This training programme is subsidised by the Department of
Education & Skills and Skillnets Ltd.

• Energy Metrics – where you can practice on sample data or bring your
own laptop & production & energy data to develop & analyse your own
EnPI’s during the workshop.
• Internal Auditing – form an internal audit team & carry out an audit of
real examples of energy management systems through round table
discussions.
The Trainer:
The course material will be delivered by Richard Morrison who has a deep
knowledge of the implementation, operation & improvement of energy
management systems. Richard is keenly aware of the challenges & benefits
associated with the operation of effective energy management systems. His
experience spans both public & private sector organisations in Ireland &
internationally, both at single & multisite locations.
Programme Cost:
The cost of the programme is €995 per person. Full payment due on booking.
2 CPD days credit are awarded in conjunction with Engineers Ireland, on
completion of the programme.
