INTRODUCTION
ISO 50001: 2011 – Energy Management Systems (EnMS) – Requirements
with guidance for use is an international standard that will assist
organization to manage and save energy better and hence improve their
energy performance. The standard is based on the management system
model of continual improvement which is also used for other well-known
standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. This makes it easier for
organizations to integrate energy management into their overall efforts to
improve quality and environmental management.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The half-day seminar will provide an overview of the Energy
Management concepts and principles. It will also give a better
understanding on the ISO 50001:2011 standard requirements and guidance
on the implementation of the standard.
