Text: Deut. 18:18-19

Intro

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Islam has spread all over the world since 610 A.D. when

Muhammad began preaching he was visited by the angel

Gabriel and received the final revelations by Allah Muhammad claimed Allah is the God of the O.T. & N.T. and that

both are true, and that Muslims are to read and know them! (Suras 5:68; 29:46)

He also claimed that Allah’s word is unalterable (Suras 6:34, 6:115, 10:64 and 50:28-29) Jews and Christians are to be put to death (Sura 9:5) Parts of the Qur’an eaten by Aisha’s goat while Muhammad

died One of the prophecies about a Roman victory over the

Persians (30:1-4) was amended from 3 years to 9 years.

Muhammad is called the “Prophet

of Allah,” or the “Apostle of Allah”

words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.19. 'It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak

in My name, I Myself will require it of him.

Jesus or Muhammad?

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Jesus MuhammadJesus is God (Jn. 1, Col. 1) and Raised Himself from the dead (Mt. 28:6; Jn. 10:18)

Muhammad is only a man (Sura 18:110) – Remains dead! (body in Medina)

Birth, Life, Death, Resurrection foretold by prophets

Nothing predicted about Muhammad. The “Comforter” was the Holy Spirit Jesus promised the apostles – Jn. 16:13; Acts 1:4-5

Lived a sinless life (II Cor. 5:21). Allah himself refers to Muhammad as sinful (Sura 40:55, 48:1-2)

Did numerous miracles to prove His divinity (All Gospel writers and Josephus) – Jn. 20:30-31

On two occasions in the Qur'an Muhammad admitted he could do no miracles (Sura 3:182-183; 17:90-95)

Cared for His enemies (Mt. 5:43-44) Killed his enemies and anyone who disagreed with him (Sura 9:5)

Held a high view of marriage and hated divorce - as God the Father does (Mt. 19:7-8)

Commanded his adopted son to divorce his wife so that she would become his (Sura 33:36-38)

Accurately prophesied many verifiable events that took place after His time (Mt. 24: A.D. 70)

Delivered only one -questionable- prophecy about the Romans winning a future battle. No date or place given – time-frame changed. (Sura 30:1-4)

Jesus or Muhammad?

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

The Qur’an even speaks of Jesus as performing miracles &

the Torah and Gospels spoken of as “guidance and light”

Jesus’ miracles: Sura 3:48; 43:63 Gospels as “guidance and light”: Sura 5:44, 46Mario Joseph, a muslim ex-Imam that converted

himselfto “Christianity” from studying Jesus in the Qur’an Sura 3:45-55: Three names for Jesus in Arabic phrases: “Word of

God,” “Spirit of God,” “Jesus Christ” (Messiah); and says He would return. Says none of those things about Muhammad!

Both the Bible & the false teachings of

the Qur’an point to Jesus as God’s final Prophet!

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

One would expect a messenger of God to behave in accordance with God’s word Muhammad used Allah as a genie in a bottle to get what he

wanted!

Aisha the child-bride (and favorite wife of Muhammad)

Muhammad married Aisha, the 6 or 7 year old daughter of his friend Abu Bakr (also 1st convert to Islam outside Muhammad’s family, and 1st Caliph).

Muhammad consummated the marriage when Aisha was 9 years old and then moved her into a house of her own (like his other 8 wives).

Sura 65:4: Allah allows men to marry prebubescent girls (problem in many Muslim countries today – no laws against it for it would go against Allah!)

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Muhammad wore women’s clothing From early Jan. 2013 to Feb. 2014 a group of Muslims called

“Muslim Patrol” enforced sharia law on the streets of London, harassing and attacking drunks and cross-dressers.

Sura 4:3: The Qur’an says men may have 4 wives (women only one husband) – yet Muhammad had 9 wives! (Revelation from Allah allowed it)

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

“Do not injure me regarding 'A'isha. The revelation does not come

to me when I am in the garment of any woman except 'A'isha.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 2442:(In response to Muhammad’s 9 wives not getting equal treatment – contrary to Sura

4:3)

Arabic “mirt”: “A dress from wool or cotton that is used as an Izar or a cover by a woman”

(Al-Mujan al-Waseet)

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Muhammad wore women’s clothing Muhammad received Qur’anic revelations while wearing Aisha’s

clothes! (By his own admission!)

Their Prophet Muhammad would not be allowed onLondon streets!

I Cor. 6:9-109. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not

be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,

10. nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Muhammad’s Death Sahih al-Bukhari 2797: Muhammad said his greatest desire was

to die a martyr, be raised and die a martyr, and repeated this process over and over

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Sura 69:44-46: 44. And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false]

sayings,45. We would have seized him by the right hand;46. Then We would have cut from him the aorta.

(Sahih International Translation)http://quran.com/69/44-46

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Muhammad’s Death 632 A.D.: After conquering Khaibar and butchering its

inhabitants Muhammad allowed a Jewish woman to fix him dinner! She poisoned the lamb! His friend tasted the poison in first bite but saw Muhammad

still eating so kept eating till he too died! (Trusted in Allah’s prophet)

Muhammad suddenly declared the lamb leg spoke to him and said it was poisoned so he called for his guests to stop eating (after he had eaten it, and remember, his friend could taste the poison in the first bite)

The Jewess was called in & questioned, she confirmed she poisoned the dinner out of retribution for her murdered family, and she was executed.

Muhammad knew he was dying and wanted to spend his last

days in Aisha’s home!

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Sahih al-Bukhari 4428: The Prophet in his ailment, in which he died, used to say, “O,

Aisha! Istill feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at

this time,I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.”

at-Tabari, p. 124 (speaking to the mother of his friend who

died): “Umm Bishr, at this very moment I feel my aorta being severed

becauseof the food I ate with your son at Kaybar.”

The Character of Muhammad

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Muhammad’s Death According to Qur'an 69:44-46, if Muhammad were a false prophet,

Allah would sever his aorta. Interestingly, when Muhammad died, he said he could feel his aorta being severed!

Also, in an ironic twist of fate: Qur’an 4:157-158 says Allah would not allow the Jews to put Jesus to death so He was taken first and made to “look dead.” Allah did not stop Muhammad from being killed by a Jew

(Jewess) and did not grant his greatest wish to be martyred!

Muhammad suffered his own judgment as to the fate of

a false prophet! (Mt. 7:2)Muhammad was an immoral pedophile who used

his religion to spread hate and murder and take what

hewanted - not the Prophet like Moses, and definitely

not like Jesus!

Conclusion

Islam Pt. 2: Jesus Or Muhammad?

Unmistakable evidence identifies Jesus Christ as God’s

final Prophet of Salvation Evidence Clear, Abundant--God Wants All to Be Saved! (II Pet. 3:9) Mt. 17:5: “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased;

listen to Him!” Lk. 1:4: “So that you may know the exact truth about the things

you have been taught.” Acts 1:3: “To these He also presented Himself alive after His

suffering, by many convincing proofs…”
