Today’s life is filled with fears, worries, panic and hunger because of the

pandemic that is experienced all over the world. God creat-ed heaven and earth and He is in control of everything. He gives us hope in 1 Peter 5:6-11. Apostle Peter offered this encouragement to the followers of Jesus. How can we keep from worrying? First, believers must be willing to humble themselves before the Lord, submitting fully to His will in order to overcome and enjoy victorious Christian life (vv.6-7).Our God is omnipresent seeing and knowing all, while possess-ing the unrestrained power to move in our midst and secure victory in our lives. We are en-couraged to cast all of our cares upon the Lord. This speaks of our worries and our anxieties, those issues and burdens that trouble our spirit and hinder our joy. Those insecurities that keep

us up at night, the cares of life whatever they may be! We are to lay them at His feet and leave them there. Peter addressed the source of every believer’s conflict. We all must deal with an adversary who seeks to de-feat and discourage those who desire to serve the Lord (vv.8-9). Remember, the devil is walking around in search of those he can devour. Peter reminds us that all be-lievers face the same afflictions. The struggles and trials we face are not new to our generation and they are not specific to our lives. We are certainly not the first to face such opposition and we definitely won’t be the last. Peter reminded believers that they were not left alone in this world, their lives were kept by the power and grace of God.

1 Peter 5:6-10, “...the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and stead-fast.”

Our God is omnipresent seeing and knowing all...

peace. For He is the great Jeho-vah Shalom - the only God who is the source of true peace ( I Corinthians 14:33).That is why Jesus said, “be of good cheer, take good courage, be com-forted and have a cheerful spirit.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)“I have overcome the world.”(1 John 4:4; 1 John 5:5) This states that Jesus is in full control of whatever is happen-ing to us now and to the whole world as well. He is allowing this

things to happen for his great purpose to people’s lives. This is the right time for many to call on God, seek his face, acknowledge him for who He is and put all trust in Him who can do great and immeasurrable things in our lives even in our present situation. Why? Because Jesus overcome death on the cross and have the victory. Jesus have over-come the world for our sake ( 1 Corinthians 15:57; Romans 8:37). As of now we may not under-stand it well, but in the future we will, by God’s grace.

God’s love is mani-fested in our midst. Perfect love comes

from our Creator Himself, whom the whole body, the church, fitly joined togeth-er and compacted by that which every joint supplies according to the effectual working in the measure of

every part, makes increase of the body to the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:16)God deserves the highest praise, honor and glory for being faithful and promis-es keeper to all of us. Our loving mentor Ptr. Sionie

Umali shared a powerful message in 6th glorous anniversary in Ichikawa Church. Inspite the fact that there are viruses mov-ing around, we celebrated with joy and peace in our heart! Thank You Holy Spirit for the success.
