The righty threw the program’s third no-hitter back on March 26 against conference opponent Elmira College and during this year’s NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional against Kean University he threw a complete game three-hit shutout. In 2015, he posted a 4-4 mark to go along with his 2.78 ERA in a 11 starts to earn him Second Team All-Conference, while during his freshman campaign he went 7-1 on the mound and leading the nation in hits allowed per inning with 4.36. He earned conference Rookie of the Year along with Second Team All-Conference recognition and Second Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings in 2014. This year’s draft consisted of 20 Division III players drafted out of 1216 total selections. This is the second highest number of Division III players selected in the MLB draft since 2010 when 22 were taken. First-year draftees have until July 15, 2016 to sign with their respective clubs.
