Language differences. More documents should be translated.
Bridging gaps in higher education institutions between Europe and Africa
cannot be overlooked.
There is need for more dissemination of European initiatives (like ISEKI_Mundus).

TIMING: The starting and the participation in the thematic network ISEKI_Mundus, was just right : For
- On the eve of the launching of the ISEKI Mundus project;
- 8 years after the signing of the Bologna declaration;
- 2 years after the signing of the Libreville declaration by the Heads of States of the Central African Region to reform the HE system in coherence with the Bologna declaration and in the footsteps of European Experience;
- the progressive introduction of the BMD system into the Higher Education programme in 2007/2008 academic year was singned
into law in Cameroon.

Situation
In Republic of Congo – many public Universities spread over the country -
decentralization since 90s.
This “is to make university teachers move towards students”
University of Bukavu received the impacts of repeated wars in the eastern part
of DRC since 1996 – two years after its kick-off. This affected its functioning
and also the initially planned mobility of teachers.
Major obstacles are financial. Although severa international organisms have
been collaborating
Students have been having the opportunity for mobility in the Africa
continent, but the challenges are related to differences at universities
curricula,
