The Twelfth Series of Symposium on Natural Language Processing (SNLP2017), which biannuallyheld since 1993, has broadened to cover the knowledge in artificial Intelligence together with theknowledge in natural language processing. The new name becomes The Joint International Symposiumon Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing (iSAI-NLP 2017). iSAI-NLP 2017 isthe collaboration of a number of universities in Thailand with the purpose to promote researchesin artificial intelligence, natural language processing and other related fields. As a unique, premiermeeting of researchers, professionals and practitioners, iSAI-NLP 2017 provides a place andan opportunity for them to discuss various current and advanced issues of interests in such areas.

SUBMISSIONS
Regular Research Papers should provide detail original researchcontributions. They must report new research results that represent a contribution to the field; sufficient details and support for the resultsand conclusions should also be provided.
Papers must be written in English and should describe original workin details. Each paper must follow the format, according to the instructionson the conference web site

Each paper must be accompanied by an abstract summarizing thecontribution it makes to the field. Maximum paper length for regular papersis 10 pages (A4).
Each paper will be reviewed by at least three reviewers. Papers will beevaluated on the basis of originality, impact, significance, quality of research,quality of writing, and contribution to conference program and diversity.Papers whose authors include one or more members of the programcommittees will be evaluated using the double blinded review process.
