OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To Gather as God’s People;

To Grow in Faith, Love and Service;

And to Go into the World as Disciples

Sharing God’s Love.

Turn your kids into Galactic Starveyors! As kids focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders - that the God who created everything there is - the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible - wants a personal relationship with them! Invite your kids into the clubhouse and show them

the God who is over the moon in love with them.

VBS Scripture:

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For everything was

created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or

dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1:15-16 (NKJV)

Dear FPC, I had a great time at camp. Thank you for your support. I loved riding horses, & gym, & the blob. I prayed for my cabin many times. Thank you for my letters too. Love, Leighton Smith

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dear Friends of First Presbyterian Church, Thank you so much for participating in our 2017 Baby Bottle Campaign and for your contributions totaling $344.56. As a church, your contribution to Hannah PRC is always special because it touches the lives of so many people who are in need. Thank you again for your church’s continued support for life in our communities. For Life, Paula Williams Resource Development Coord.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dear First Presbyterian Church, Thank you for the donation of food to Southern Christian Mission, Inc. We greatly appreciate your kindness. God Bless! Sincerely, Ruthie Sharp.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thank you for allowing us to share our ministry with your congregation. We enjoyed our time with you and judging from the comments we received, many people were encouraged and challenged. We pray that many seeds were planted and that they will grow and bear fruit in the Lord’s time. Thank you also for arranging housing for us. We were made to feel so welcome and enjoyed the fellowship that is always present among the people of God. In Him, Covenant Players

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dear Church Family, Thank you so much for your love, prayers, compassion and help during Jim’s illness. First Presbyterian Church, Magnolia, was so much a part of his world; and it meant everything to him to stay in touch even when he could no longer attend worship. Thank you for your visits, for bringing Wednesday meals and communion to our home, and for the weekly DVD of worship services. His final service was just what he would have liked, and the fellowship and meal for our family was very special. As Pastor Mike said in his message, Jim’s church key was among his most prized possessions. It opened the door to his most favorite place. God bless you. The family of Jimmie Downs

The First Presbyterian Church family wishes to express our Christian love and sympathy to the family of Jim Downs who passed

from this life to the Church Triumphant on June 12, 2017.

at Camp Ozark in Mt. Ida, AR.

Carson and Elizabeth Davis had a wonderful trip from May 28 to June 16. They visited museums, heard organ and piano recitals, and walked all over some beautiful, historic places in London and three cities in Poland--Warsaw, Poznan, and Krakow. Pictured right, Carson is in the Chelsea Physic Garden (the second oldest botanic garden in England). Pictured left, Elizabeth is in a Polish version of a Starbucks in Warsaw.

Special guests representing the Boys & Girls Club of Magnolia, shared with our Wednesday night Bible study group on May 28th what affect the proposed new Baseball/Aquatic Center Complex could have on the Boys & Girls Club.
