Golf 4u are f ully licensed, bonded and insured with our very own shiny CIAN number (296132-2). The CIAN isissued by the Spanish government and is the equivalent of ABTA in the UK. The CIAN means that we arelicensed to sell holidays here in Spain and provides our customers with up to 500,000 Euros in indemnitycover, in the very unlikely event of the liquidation of our business.

Since early 2012, Golf 4u have been members of IAGTO.

Set up in 1997, IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) is a recognised global tradeorganisation of which oversees around 550 Golf Tour Operators in around 61 countries.

IAGTO incorporates many roles including the development of golf travel worldwide, promotes andimplements best practices within the golf tourism industry and creates business opportunit ies betweenIAGTO members and their partners.

So What Should I Look For In A Golf Tour Operator?

Well, we would obviously love f or you to use the f ully insured services of Golf 4u Spain, but if you dochoose to shop around, proceed with caution and look f or the f ollowing

Are the golf tour operators members of IAGTO?

Do they have (and advertise it on their website) a genuine CIAN number?

Ask if they are f ully bonded and that your payment is insured?

Do they have a business phone number you can call?

Check the whois website (http://whois.domaintools.com) How old is their domain name? Has it beenestablished f or a number of years or has it just popped up overnight?

Are they able to provide genuine testimonials f rom existing customers?

If any other companies cannot provide one of the above points, ask yourself why? But more importantly,ask them why not?
