Is it really possible to talk about God?Francisco Javier Ponce Cruz

God has represented a leadership figure, a perfect and supreme, self-sufficient and eternal being. Is

referred as a divine creator and modeler of the universe but the question is it really possible to talk

    about God?

The existence of god has been an interesting debate and a search of answers that has not been

disappeared even the science of 21 century.

Philosophical contributions have emerged over time. Saint Anselmo proposed reasoning about

existence of God. It says that it is possible to think in a being whose non-existence is not devisable

and this being is the most perfect, higher than any other. Norman Malcolm, American philosopher,

proposed two extremes: god exists forever or it is impossible that god exists, and then he admitted is

not impossible that god exists because human beings have contemplated God existence as a

possibility. So he resolved this reasoning with a clear view: who accepts this argument, accept that

    God exists. Nevertheless existing became a strange adjective. Things exist but we can think inpossibilities of things too. Malcolm rejected the thesis existing is not a property or a perfection;

then Saint Anselmo said that the perfection is the need to exist. So some of them accepted that

perfection can be in an existing thing but that is not necessary existing. Saint Thomas Aquinas,

italian philosopher, reconciled faith and reason with existence of God in his Summa Theologica.

For him God is the explanation to every movement and the cause of all.

There have been many exposed fundamentals; nevertheless many others proposed that we could

think in a perfect being, but it does not mean he exists. From a scientific perspective it has been

developed theories that reject the possibility of a creator and eternal divinity. The theoretical model

of the origin of universe says all the universe started in the big bang. Also the force of quantum

theory lays in the fact of offer a general description of all phenomena in the microscopic world

    without contemplating a divine intervention.

These theories and theoretical models have been debated and they caused a big discussion about the

topic. However the most important point that we have raised is existence or non-existence of God

does not represent a dogma of faith. It is now clarified that demand of proofs about God existence

has no relevance. Philosophic arguments about existence of God could be understood, somebody

without faith can accept the reasoning and he will not change the ideology, simply he can no longer

say God does not exist. Now we can say it is possible to talk about God from faith, a perspective

that is predicated like necessary, i.e., the concept of God is based in an empiric truth. As Immanuel

Kant said It is absolutely necessary to persuade the existence of God; but it is not necessary to

prove that God exists. Offer reasons for religion and faith has limits and scientific proofs about

religious beliefs become absurd. The idea of faith takes us to the natural mode of human beliefs that are accepted without arguments.

Simply the belief in God necessary is. This God is contemplated in a deep level of spirit and then

we take part in a religious life. It is possible to talk about God in terms of faith, human beings have

thought in this possibility and faith as a lifestyle.
