The peak time is between 2pm and 3 pm. The apprisal needs to be done for each student in the system depeding on the exams they are taking . Appraisal can be done for internal , assignments marks , viva , practicals marks . The instructors or the administrators can log in to the system and can do the grading / appraisal for the modules or exams he is conducting This number is related to the length of the peak time below.

This is the sum of the total number of students enrolled at a given point in time and the number of students that have graduated or deregistered, but none of their data has been archived yet. (The usual practice is to partly archive student records about 2 years after graduation or deregistration.)

A module booking is a registration at a module (course).

A module booking is a registration to a module (course).

A module is normally a course at a university. A module is a combination of business event types and the associated rules, which can be used in several programs.You use modules to create generic, reusable templates for complex or similar academic events. You can use these templates in study plans and adapt them to individual student requirements.

This includes also academic work transferred from other universities.

Individual work represents a student s academic work such as a thesis or ‟project works that can contribute to her/ his academic work.

Business events are classes or online learning sessions , practicles that can be scheduled and offered so that students can book them and attend them. Each of these events would belong to a event type .

The CPU Sizing is based on peak time. The peak time is time period with the highest system load. When you fill out you must take in mind that the module booking and the creation of application will executed at the same time parallel.

Usually the peak of the module booking process leads to the highest system load and is therefore taken as the basis for CPU sizing. Peak time here is the time interval when most students book their study modules. The experience from one of our pilot customers is that 30% of students book their modules between 2pm and 3pm. Another value is that 5% of the students enrolled for a session do this at peak time on the first day of registration.

This is the amount of study modules which a student takes per session. In Student life cyccle management the module booking of all study modules is done in one step.

Usually the peak of the Attendance tracking for the colleagues and school contributes to the highest system load and is therefore taken as the basis for CPU sizing.Peak time here is the time interval when most of the Instructor sit and do the attendance recording for the student . This becomes a critical entry when the application is running in Schools and universities where there is big number of Instructors and they have to record the attendace daily .

Usually the peak of the online grading for the colleagues and school contributes to the highest system load and is therefore taken as the basis for CPU sizing.Peak time here is the time interval when most of the Instructor sit and do the grade / appraisal recording for the student . This becomes a critical entry when the application is running in Schools and universities where there is big number of Instructors and they have to record the students grading , afetr internal or final exams . If the apprisal template also holds the assignment marks or the lab marks into account then this becomes a frequent activity .

Beside the module booking also the admission application service needs to be considered. Please enter here the number of admission applications that are entered during the peak time for module booking.

Length of peak time. The experience up to now shows that around 30% of module booking of a day is done between 2pm and 3pm. At this time comes the highest load to the system. Enter the length of the peak time.
