0. General - This standard ( Part 2 ) shall be read in conjunction with IS : 11515 (Part 1 )-I985 Specification for fixed metallised polycarbonate film dielectric capacitors: Part 1 General require- menfs and methods of tests.

1. Scope - This standard ( Part 2) covers fixed metallised polycarbonate capacitors, tubular, non-hermetically sealed in non-metal case, insulated, tape wrapped and filled or moulded type, axial lead configuration.

2. Outline, Drawing and Dimensions - The outline, drawing and dimensions shall be according to Fig. 1 and Table 1.

Typical construction - Non-hermetically sealed, tape wrapped and filled or moulded.

Note 1 - Terminations are of diameters 030 2 “0::: mm for D < 8 mm and 0’80 r 0”::: mm for D > 8 mm.

Note 2 - L1 40 mm for L ( 15 mm; 45 mm for L ( 27 mm; and 50 mm for f C 32 mm.

3. Ratings - Ratings shall be as specified In Table 1.
