Thank you for the opportunity to submit the following proposal to design and construct your fu-ture splashpad. We have many years of experience in comple ng projects like this and we are extremely well suited to undertake this project.

Our company, PlayQuest Recrea on has been involved in a wide range of recrea onal projects all over western Canada and has completed hundreds of playground and water park projects. Over the years we have increased our scope to become a complete design, supply and construc on

rm which is also an exclusive distributor of many high quality recrea onal product lines includ-ing the Vortex Aqua c equipment which is being used in this proposal.

Condi ons of Sale

Lead Time: Standard lead me of 6-8 weeks for Play Products, 10 weeks for Water Recircula on Equipment and 16 weeks for Eleva ons. These mes are con ngent upon receipt of deposit, approved drawings and all applica-ble color selec ons and produc on only can begin upon receipt the items.

Payment Schedule: 50% to place order, 25% on receipt of equipment, 24% at comple on of construc on, 1% a er commissioning. Payment are not subject to holdbacks.

Pricing is valid 30 days unless otherwise agreed upon in wri ng.

All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.

The splashpad equipment will be shipped directly to you from the Vortex factory. Receiving, unloading and the safe storage of the equipment is your responsibility un l installa on can occur. The equipment comes on large pallets and requires forkli to unload it.

Development and building permit fees are not included in the pricing should these be required, normally they are waived.

Changes required to meet the local health authority requests may result in changes to the type of recircula ng equipment required and a ect pricing. An addi onal fee will be charged should stamped drawings be required.

Freight charge is an es mate and is subject to change without no ce. Should embed equipment be required ahead of scheduled delivery date, addi onal freight charges will apply.

Warranty: The Vortex Aqua c Structures Interna onal warranty applies to the aqua c equipment. The PlayQuest Recrea on warranty applies to any other services provided.

For recircula ng systems the supply of lter media, chemicals and test kits are not included.

Electronic equipment manuals and drawings for the equipment will be provided in PDF format.

Standard prac ces to control concrete cracking will be used, including control cuts. Hairline cracks in concrete surfaces are not a de ciency and are normal in our climate. Any remedies to cracking are at the discre on of PlayQuest.

Winteriza on of the splashpad is not included in the scope of work, but is available at addi onal cost.

Install Above Ground Command Cabinet and Controller

Install the above ground cabinet approximately 15 feet from the spray deck. A below grade drainage vaultwill be constructed using pressure treated material below the cabinet to allow for draining of the spray decklines for winterizing.

U lity Connec ons

The drain line will be run 3 feet past edge of pad and will be le approximately 3 feet below nal grade.Connec on of this drain line (SDR35) will be le for whoever is doing the rest of the drain line.

A suitably sized water service will need to be connected at manifold in the cabinet by whoever is runningthe water service. They will need to provide any required shuto valves, back ow preven on, pressureregula on, meters and a suitable enclosure.

Electrical power will need to be connected to the controller by others. A 15 amp 110 volt service is ade-quate for this system ow. Typical current draw is less than 5 amps. Grounding of the spray features andrebar grid will be completed by PlayQuest. Supply and install of any grounding bar and rods and groundwire back to the electrical supply system by others.
