Welcome to another edition of Revolutionart!
This epic edition comes to you under the title “Honor & Glory”, recalling all the feats, promises, struggles and lost lives which have stemmed from those much vaunted ancient values.
Along with “honor” and “glory”, there exist many other words for such concepts which are not necessarily understood in the same way across all cultures. And yet people continue to define their lives according to such principles. So many people organize their existence around –or limit their lives in accordance with- words which when all is said and done are just that; words.
Is there any point in living for honor and glory? Are such concepts worth dying for?
History has recorded how so many have died for such beliefs without the merest shadow of a doubt in their hearts, proudly and willingly, swords in hand, fighting in lost causes merely to achieve immortality through their own personal sacrifice, continuing the struggle when at the final hour there is nothing more to be won beyond honor and glory.
The content of this edition is inspired by such reflections and adorned with designs filled with meaning, produced by artists from all over the world. And just like in all our previous editions, this offering is defined by the very highest standards of audiovisual content: music, animation, photography, models and reflections on the world in which we live.
I hope you enjoy it!

“People in this day and age spend money on various things they don’t need in the first place. One of the biggest reasons being they don’t want to be excluded from the society as humans are social creatures. Companies are playing to this fear, compelling people to consume needlessly and buy their products. This can be compared to the “Emperor’s New Clothes” tale, companies replacing the conmen and the people replacing the emperor, in this situation. Using this metaphor as the base, I will build my art piece as a different and beautiful dressing but lacks the elements of traditional clothing. As this art piece can’t be categorized as a “dress” and requires more sculpting then tailoring, I will label it as “wearable sculpture”. I will use a person, a victim to consumerism, to present the piece. Although materials are quite basic, namely, branches and strings, it will look very luxurious and prestigious. Piece will be vaguely in shape of a spider web, representing the trap of consumerism, the performance artist who will wear the dress will also portray the prey to the trap that is fashion”.
