Hello, and welcome to the second easyFairs® PACKAGING IRELAND show.

Last year’s debut show was a real success. Almost 1,000 brand managers, product

developers and packaging technologists, from brands such as Coca-Cola Ireland,

Kerry Foods, Diageo and Microsoft attended, and this year’s visitor figures are

expected to be even higher.

Once again, we’ve brought together a wealth of exhibitors across the packaging

spectrum – including many of the sector’s leading names – from design consultancies

through to suppliers showing new materials, advances in sustainable packaging, and

machinery to help companies package products quicker and more efficiently.

We will be playing host to the very latest developments in packaging, with many

products being displayed and demonstrated for the very first time in Ireland.

In addition to a wide range of packaging companies on show, we’ve also compiled a

comprehensive learnShops™ educational programme that features seminars being

delivered by some of the country’s most influential packaging professionals and brand

specialists.

During the two days, our show partner, Repak, will also be offering free one-to-

one consultations with its technologists who will be advising on innovative ways

to cut down on packaging. Repak is a not for profit organisation and its ‘producer

responsibility scheme for used packaging’, has over 2,200 members, covering 60% of

the packaging industry. We’re proud to have them on board and I’m delighted they’re

playing such a central role in this show.

Along with our 120 exhibitors and the free-to-attend learnShops™ and Repak

consultations, easyFairs® PACKAGING IRELAND will also deliver plenty of inspiration

and learning. Lion’s Lair – a Dragons’ Den style contest – will see various companies

putting their innovations to a panel of packaging experts.
