Bruce Helford Executive Producer Veteran television creator, showrunner and executive producer Bruce Helford has amassed one of the most successful track records in American primetime television comedy. One of the industry’s most sought‐after comedy writers, Helford is perhaps best known for co‐creating and executive producing the long‐ running ABC comedy hit, The Drew Carey Show, starring stand‐up comedian Drew Carey, which was a critical and popular hit that ran for 10 seasons from 1995 to 2004. Helford also created and executive produced the popular ABC comedy The George Lopez Show, which starred Latino radio personality and comedian George Lopez and ran for 120 episodes from 2002 to 2007. Helford’s latest project is the comedy series Anger Management starring Charlie Sheen, which debuted on the FX network in the summer of 2012. Helford is writing, showrunning and executive producing the series, which is also being produced for FX by Lionsgate Television, Revolution Studios and Evolution Entertainment. Using the innovative Debmar‐Mercury syndication model, Anger Management received a 90 episode back-order after the record-breaking ratings success of the first 10 episodes. Among Helford’s numerous credits, he served as executive producer and writer for the top‐rated comedy Roseanne during the series’ fifth season in 1992. Helford also created or co‐created the television series The Norm Show, Wanda at Large, Freddie, Nikki, and Bless This House. Helford is the founder and owner of the television production company Mohawk Productions.

Writer/Producer Dave Caplan has enjoyed a career writing prime-time television that spans more than twenty years. Caplan currently serves as Executive Producer of the FX comedy Anger Management, starring Charlie Sheen. Having written primarily comedy, Caplan expanded his resume to include drama as he served as Writer/Consulting Producer on TNTs police/medical examiner hit, Rizzoli and Isles which set records for scripted cable viewership. Prior to that, Caplan served as Writer/Executive Producer for ABC/Warner Brothers hits George Lopez, The Drew Carey Show, and Norm, starring Norm MacDonald. Prior to the launch of Mercury, Bernstein served as president of domestic television distribution for Rysher Entertainment, Cox Enterprises production and distribution studio division. Beginning in June 1993 as executive VP, Bernstein became involved in all areas of the companys marketing and programming activities, and in December 1994 became president.

Earlier, Bernstein served as VP of advertiser-supported and cable programming at Reeves Entertainment from 1990-1993. From 1984-90, he was executive VP/director of advertising sales for LBS Communications, and worked in the television department of ad agencies Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erikson and Kenyon and Eckhardt from 1981-84.

Under his leadership, Buena Vista Television became a powerhouse in the syndication, cable, network and pay-per-view businesses, setting a precedent for innovative programming and campaigns.

Marcus also served as executive vice president, sales and development, for the Walt Disney Internet Group, the internet division of The Walt Disney Company. Marcus played a key role in Disney's expansion to the internet, handling successful startups Disney.com, Family.com, Go.com and ESPN.com.

Prior to joining Disney, Marcus served as president of the telecommunications business at Qintex Entertainment. His earlier roles included serving as president at Colex and vice president of television sales at the Samuel Goldwyn Company.
