As a teacher it is critical to be informed of what technology is available and to be informed of how it can help YOU as a teacher.

Providing a laptop, or even use of a computer to the classroom allows the student to have exposure to the technology which is necessary for learning development.

Children need exposure to fun, new ways of learning. Computers can provide interactive games that can enhance learning and excitement for learning.

IDEA FOR USE: Use a laptop or computer in your classroom to have children type up their personal writing to be saved and printed!

Several Online Resources can be used in the classroom for Early Childhood Educators. This resource is from the http://nlvm.usu.edu(National Library of Virtual Manipulatives)

IDEA FOR USE: This manipulative can be used in a classroom after teaching patterns. Students can use technology to reinforce their learning.
