Vacation Care 27 November 2017 - 1 December 2017
Monday 27 November - Beach Party
We start our holidays by having a Beach Party which will include swimming, sand castle creations, beach volleyball and lots of pool party games.
Bring along your swimmers and a plate of party food from the list displayed at BASC.
Tuesday 28 November – Pool Inflatables/Activities
Today we have organised the pool inflatables for your enjoyment as well as some planned pool games and activities.
Cost: $5.00
Wednesday 29 November – Double Lane Waterslide
The double lane waterslide is always lots of fun and extremely popular with the children. This and other water activities will be set up on the oval today.
Cost: $12.50
All week we plan to have a wet and wild time. Starting the week with a Beach party and then visiting “Wet and Wild” at the Gold Coast later in the week.
We will also continue with our regular daily activities the boys love to participate in.
Some of these include:
• Football • Dodgeball • Cricket • Reading • Crafts • Cooking • Computer games • Movies • Lego and other construction activities • Free choice activities
Friday 1 December – Super Soaker Day
Bring along your super soaker guns today as we have planned lots of fun water based activities including a water fight amongst your friends and teachers.
What a way to end a wet and wild week of water activities to keep us cool.
Thursday 30 November – “Wet and Wild”
What could be better than a day out at “Wet and Wild” on the Gold Coast. There will be lots of fun activities and free time for you to enjoy including a BBQ lunch.
Cost: If you have passes ($20.00 Bus and Lunch)
Cost: Without passes ($38.00 Bus, Lunch and Entry)
Vacation Care 4 December 2017 - 8 December 2017
Monday 4 December - Movie and McDonalds
We are going to the movies to watch “The Star“today.
We will then visit McDonalds for lunch before returning back to school.
Afternoon activities will include:
• Board Games • Indoor and Outdoor free play • Crafts
Cost: $5.00 Movie (charged to your account) Children are to bring cash for McDonalds
Friday 8 December
Minute to win it Party
Who doesn’t love a party, especially one with a twist. There will be lots of fun and challenging one minute games for the children as individuals as well as some team events. We thought this would be a great way to end a busy week.
Bring along a plate of food from the party list displayed at BASC.
Tuesday 5 December
Nerf Wars Grammar Park
Off to Grammar Park today where we will be setting up camp for the day. The boys will team up with their buddies and go head to head in a series of planned games and activities that test their aim, team work and ability to plan strategy.
Lunch Provided
Cost: $15.00 (Bus and Lunch)
Wednesday 6 December - Boot Camp
Our teachers are going to get the children into shape today providing them with a boot camp program.
Mr Nick along with Mr Sam have organised a variety of fun activities for the boys to participate in. Some activities will be a little challenging but overall will be achievable.
Thursday 7 December - Laser Skirmish
BASC Annual Christmas Party
The day will include:
• 2 hours laser skirmish • Christmas party games and activities • Christmas luncheon (all food and drinks
provided) • Visit from Santa
Please bring a small gift for your child wrapped and named. (To the value of $10.00)

Vacation Care 11 December 2017 - 15 December 2017
Monday 11 December - Movies and Pizza
We are off to the movies today to watch “Paddington 2”.
Paddington, now happily settled with the Brown family and a popular member of the local community, picks up a series of odd jobs to buy the perfect present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, only for the gift to be stolen.
On our return Pizza will be served for lunch.
After lunch we will continue with some outdoor games and sporting activities.
Cost: $12.50 Movie and Lunch (Pizza Hut Pizzas)
Tuesday 12 December - Spring-loaded
Spring-loaded trampoline center at West Ipswich provide lots of fun activities for children of all ages and abilities.
Come along, you will get lots of exercise while having a good time with your friends.
Cost: $12.00
Wednesday 13 December - Summer Olympics
Let the games begin.
Today we have four events for the children to participate in.
These include:
• Table Tennis • Handball • Badminton • Basketball
Thursday 14 December - Rocks Riverside Park
There are lots of open areas with many different activities including a giant playground and water park for the children. BBQ lunch will be provided today.
Bring your swimmers and towel.
Cost: ($15.00 Bus and Lunch)
Friday 15 December
Cricket/Football tournaments
Some seriously funny competition today against Santa’s team and the Elves team.
Which team are you on? Santa’s or the Elves.

Monday 18 December
Movies and Christmas Luncheon
Today we are off to the movies to watch “Ferdinand”
On our return we will enjoy a Christmas luncheon, followed by some party games, Christmas carols and craft activities.
Please bring a food item from the list provided.
Cost: $5.00
Tuesday 19 December
Christmas Gift Workshop (Incursion)
The children can choose from 3 activities to make a gift for someone special.
These may include:
• Plate/Mug Painting • Mosaics • Candle Making • Photo Frames • Soap Making
Children will also paint a large sheet of paper with cold wax and spray with dye to make wrapping paper. Cost $16.00
Wednesday 20 December
The Great Christmas Bake Off
Today we will be cooking some sweet treats that you can take home and share with our families.
Our junior chefs will have a choice of what they would like to cook and will compete against each other.
Cost: $5.00
Thursday 21 December
Christmas Movies/Electronics
A laid back day today where the children can choose to watch some of their favorite Christmas movies or play on their electronic devices.
Feel free to bring along your favorite movie.
We have also planned some exciting and challenging indoor/outdoor Christmas party games.
Friday 22 December
All sorts day
As today is our last day of vacation care for the year so we have decided to let you choose the activities for the day.
Miss Tori will also have craft, movies, indoor/outdoor games and a Christmas treasure hunt planned.
We would like to take this opportunity to with you all a very Happy and Safe Christmas.

Monday 8 January
Trash or Treasure
Hotrod Racers made from junk.
Today we are going to construct our very own hotrod cars using junk materials that have been collected for you.
You can choose to make your own or team up with a buddy and create something really awesome.
Tuesday 9 January
BMX Racing – Bike safety/Maintenance
Bring along your bikes and/or scooters today as we are going to ride to the BMX track in West Ipswich where you will have the opportunity to use the facilities/tracks available.
We will start the day talking about safety and some basic bike maintenance. We will then head off to the BMX Track.
All children must wear helmets while participating in this activity.
Wednesday 10 January
Go Karts-Jumping Castle
On your marks, get set, go.
We have hired the Go-Karts and will be setting up a race track with street signs and crossings for you today.
You must follow the road rules.
There will be plenty of races for everyone, but while you are waiting there will be a jumping castle for you.
Cost: $15.00
Thursday 11 January
Built for Speed – Ipswich Art Gallery
Start your engines Built for Speed is Back. Thrills, spills and awesome crashes are guaranteed.
Design, build and race your Lego hot rod, dragster or supercar down rad ramps and slick tracks. Modify your ride for extra speed then re-race your turbocharged wheels for ultimate victory.
Cost: $5.00
Friday 12 January
Electronics – Movies (Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3)
We will set up the Play Station, Wii and Xbox with various car racing games for your enjoyment today.
After lunch we will settle down in the cool and watch the Cars movies while eating fresh popcorn.

Monday 15 January

Wii Sports
We will set up the Wii today and play some of the amazing games available.

Come along and test your skills against your friends.
Wednesday 17 January
Cricket workshop
20/20 Cricket
We are going to start the day by learning some rules and then developing our cricket skills.
After lunch we will divide into teams to enjoy a friendly game of 20/20 cricket.
Thursday 18 January
Ecopark- Leisure Park
Ecopark Fishing is a fun environmentally friendly theme park with lots of activities for the children to enjoy.
Our package includes:
• Catch and Release fishing • Bird and animal feeding • Paddle boats • Picnic lunch
Cost: $35.00 (bus, all activities and lunch)
Friday 19 January - Hungerball
Hungerball is the new soccer craze taking the world by storm and is a fast and fun game to play.
Hungerball is played in a specially designed round inflatable enclosure with six goals for six players, each defending a goal and attacking at once, one ball, no hands.
Come along and see what it is all about.
You won’t be disappointed.
