Teachers have been using popsicle sticks in a can to eliminate unintentional bias when calling on a student for ages. But this iPhone app takes it to the next level. You put each child's name on a "stick" and tap/shake/swipe to choose one at random. You could use it just for that if you want. But, you can also incorporate Bloom's Taxonomy get a list of question STEMS appropriate for each child's level. In Bloom's mode, for example, you can choose from six levels of cognitive development: Knowledge, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, Synthesis, and Evaluation. There is also a Bloom's Revised mode and an ESL mode for new English speakers. Track student responses as well with the built‐in Critical Thinking Rubric.
