Alpha Nu Omega Alumni Meeting Minutes February 12, 2017 Meeting Attendance: John Branch Jr., Chris O’ Banner, Justin Manuel, Ryan Johnson Sr., Gibbs Hightower IV, Torrey Thompson Sr., Baron Gates, John Allen, Freddie Green Jr., Allester Taylor, Scott Dalencour, Herb Jones, Jarret Woodley, Tremaine Russell, Torrie Richardson, Shawn Santana (EA), Gregory Allen Jr. (EA) Call to Order -Polaris Ryan Johnson Sr. called the meeting to order at 10:43 am. Prayer -Vice Polaris Freddie Green Jr. led the brothers in prayer. Recitation of Stars -Bro. Shawn Santana (EA) led the Recitation of Stars. Roll Call -Meeting attendance was taken via sign in sheet. It was noted that 5 financial brothers from the previous fiscal year were present so quorum was achieved. Attendance is listed above. 16 brothers of Alpha Nu Omega and 2 brothers of Epsilon Alpha. Adoption of Agenda -The Polaris entertained a motion from the body to adopt the agenda with flexibility. The motion was moved by Bro. Allester Taylor and properly seconded by Bro. Torrey Thompson Sr. (motion carries) Reading and Approval of Minutes The Polaris entertained a motion to accept the January minutes as posted. That motion was moved by Bro. Thompson Sr. and properly seconded by Vice Polaris Green Jr. (motion carries) Treasury Report: -ANO Treasurer Bro. John Allen presented the treasury report for the month of February 2017. The beginning balance as of Jan 31, 2017 was $3,188.16. There was a deposit of $121.07 on Feb. 8, 2017. The expenditures are as follows: a check written to NPHC-Houston $350.00 for annual dues, $108.00 to Bro. Gibbs Hightower IV for chapter website maintenance, $22.95 to reorder checks for a total expenditures in the amount of $481.20. Bro. Allen noted that dues for 4 brothers were paid to the PayPal. Dues are $125 but after fees come to $121.07, that resulted in $484.28 in the PayPal, and a final balance of $3309.23 in the Chase account. The final balance as of meeting time was $3793.51. The ANO Alumni chapter is financial for the year of 2017, and a goal of 25 locally financial brothers has been established.
