CLIENT
The client is an internet services company, based in Barcelona, Spain which handles a social networking platform called Genoom. The site is designed to build private family networks. Established in July 2007, Genoom has more than 2 million users registered till date.
REQUIREMENT
The client required an iOS application to facilitate its users with easy access to the private family network and navigate through their profiles.
SOLUTION
Azilen developed an iOS application compatible with iPhone 4, 4S and 5 devices. The application provided various functionalities along with rich graphics and enhanced user experience. Some of the salient features of the application included a unique dashboard called the Wall Screen which displayed the latest events, photos, status updates, comments and the like. The screen also allowed the relevant user to update/ post status and even upload a photo / video.
The app allowed the user to send and receive messages to multiple users in their network while even delivering birthday and anniversary notifications through messages. Users also received event notifications on a regular basis.

Users were allowed to upload/ download photos, share, like, and even post comment on them. One could even add caption to photos which they were authorized to see. One could even upload/ download, share, like, comment on, add caption to videos. With its document editing and sharing options, one could view and disseminate information at will. One could even search for relevant documents by searching them with relevant keywords (person's name, document title, and group name). One could even filter listing of documents according to their level of accessibility (Family Network / groups / friends or even type of document (Vital, Writings, Recipes, Others, All types). The documents are also segregated by file name, size, their subject and date of origin.
One of the most elements of any social network is a list of people who are connected. The contacts section presents this list and helps the user divide them into family network, groups, and friends with all profiling features including name and origin. One can even view, add and edit family members and get statistical information regarding their family network comprehensively. The user has the ability to change the language settings as required.
