Improvement achieved
• IOL < 39 weeks reduced from 6-8/ month to 2-4/month; with many months at one
• Documentation of approved medical indication improved from 40-50% to 100%
• DRAMATIC improvement seen in December; from 15 in 2010 to 4 in 2011 with 100% meeting approved criteria
Collaboration between physicians & nurses results in improved safety
