4. Attach the Surface Book power supply to the

Surface Book.

5. Attach the sensor over the power supply.

Pull the red tabs across the keyboard to adhere

the device, do NOT pull up or down.

6. Two cable clips are includ-

ed for cable management.

Attach the security cable to

the Surface power cable as

shown.

1. Surface Studio device will only re-

quire one sensor. Please plug the MDP

(Mini Display Port) sensor into the MDP

port on the back of the Surface Studio

Surface Book with Performance Base Installation

2. Slide on the screen sensor with tabs in

place. Sensor placement should be close to

the bottom of the screen. This sensor should

be high enough from the bottom to prevent

interference with the Mini Display sensor

when in draw mode.

3. Ensure to pull red tabs once the

sensor is in place. Pull the tabs direct-

ly across the screen, do not pull down

or up.

1. Wipe all areas where adhesive will

be used on the device with the included

alcohol wipe. This will ensure the ad-

hesive bonds properly for a lasting

installation

Surface Studio Accessories Installation—Dial

1. Install the C-Clamp security compo-

nent on the outside of the Surface Dial as

shown above. Dial should be placed to

the LEFT of the device

2. Plug the C-Clamp sensor into the Zips

4 port hub

Surface Studio Accessories Installation—Mouse, Keyboard, and Pen

1. Remove the protective backing from

the acrylic security piece and adhere to

the bottom of the mouse. Ensure the tab

for the tether is facing the front of the

mouse as pictured

2. Plug the mouse sensor into the Zips 4

port hub

3. Adhere the Mini-Sensor to the bottom

of the keyboard on a flat position. Press

firmly for 30 seconds to ensure proper

adhesion.

4. Plug the keyboard sensor into the Zips

4 port hub

5. Adhere the Surface Pen sensor along a

curved edge of the Surface Pen. Secure a Zip

Tie through the hole on the sensor to allow for a

tight fit

6. Plug the Pen sensor into the Zips 4

port hub

Zips 2.0 4—Port Alarm Installation

1. Note: Once placed down this cannot be moved, ensure this is placed appropriately. Secure Zips 2.0 4—Port

Alarm behind the Surface Studio. Remove the adhesive backings (4) from the bottom of the device and pull the

battery tab to activate. Once placed, the top will rotate 1/2 turn counter-clockwise to expose the Micro USB ports on

both ends, 4 total. When all cables have been plugged in, rotate the top clockwise to close.
